This song hit me hard, I first heard it at a music festival called shangri-la and I was mesmerized by everything. Her performance of it had so much light to it, I definately needed it at the time. Nothing like listening to her and healing at the same time!
The percussion is really good and it's nice to hear Amber's singing 'running free' throughout the song. I like this video a lot. Seems to me, a female chorus coming in and out of the background, now and then, is the only thing missing to make it better.
this is a powerful song, and has the potential to unite us as one tribe, which is why I found the lack of diversity heartbreaking. The tribe at the beach, the circle of women, all white. I acknowledge the occasional and rare ethnic plug in but to make an impact, the groups should reflect this. Namaste.

These are not meant to be "ethnic plug ins" but rather a motion towards seeking those who are in my life who embody a greater spectrum of Woman. If I were to have done my ideal version, I would take years showing every body type, shape, size, cultural expression I could. I invite You and all of us to seek greater representations of beauty, womanhood, skin, shape, size. I know you want this, and this is the nature of your critique. I am grateful for the women who this Has made an impact on. To have ANy positive representation of WOMAN is an accomplishment in my book,, given the times we live in. I am sorry for the women who see this and Do not see themselves represented, whether by skin color, culture belief or Size or age .
