Cool restauration! You surely already noticed that tightening the ceramic burner too much will result in breakage of the ceramic after several heating and cooling cycles... so don´t tighten it too much. Also, the gap from the needle valve on top to the catching pipe should be around 15mm. And there´s a valve at the lower end of the pump, containing a ball and a spring. If you check all this, you might get it working
