    As a former Baptist, I would idolize more of these so-called “teachers” like James White rather than reading my Bible. I thought that I couldn’t truly understand the Bible bc I believed they were more educated and knowledgeable due to them having degrees. But, I realized later that the Bible was made for the common man. The truth really did set me free.

      Be a former Baptist ? The correct term you're looking for is reformed Baptist my friend . Please don't make people think that all Baptist are reformed because most Baptist aren't . I'm 53 years old and was raised missionary Baptist and never heard of reformed Baptist until on UT about 4 or 5 years ago and had been all over to Baptist churches far and near . Calvinism is the very most minority view in Christianity, especially amongst scholars with high view of scripture . So many don't know this and that's not why it's wrong , it's because it's wrong and I'm so glad that you've been delivered from the blasphemous doctrines of calvinism .
      May GOD bless n keep you my friend .

Thank you Brethren sincerely for the defense of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ and rightly dividing the word of TRUTH. We pray for people like James White to come into the knowledge of the truth. Maybe I’m confused at some of the points. I won’t mention specific verses. But in all due respect, I feel like I’m hearing do, do , do things to be saved. It seems to infer that if you fail in these areas after you have received Christ you become fearful of when you have gone to far. Therefore leading to fear of losing salvation, on a daily bases. So someone who genuinely receives Christ, but does not read the Bible enough to grasp the whole list of do and don’ts you mentioned in the video. He hasn’t checked off everything he must do to be saved.I’ve been involved in ministry for years, and would love to hear you answer or explain briefly the balance as you understand it.. I believe you have it right, this is clear works salvation. That I don't think they would deny. It's simply putting the cart before the horse of grace. James clearly teaches faith is a result of grace not the other way around. Therefore we cannot boast with a faith that is actually centered and completely on Christ's work alone, unlike what we have here is Christ gives us an opportunity and we are saved because we are smarter than our neighbors who aren't saved. Which is boasting in works for salvation and not in Christ.

      Faith means doing. James 2 says this. We have the scriptures and if we believe in them we do.
      To be saved, one must first be in Christ, right?
      One must hear, Romans 10:14.
      One must believe, John 3:16.
      One must repent, Acts 2:38.
      One must confess Jesus as Lord, Romans 10:9.
      One must be baptized in Jesus, Mark 16:16.
      One must continue to live faithfully, Revelation 2:10.
      Will someone live faithfully perfectly? No. No one is saying that. But the scriptures tell us to live faithfully, right? We should preach what the word says, right? So, that's what we're doing.

      Saved by grace only=all saved
      Saved by grace through faith= God provides atonement (Christ) and man chooses to connect to that God given atonement and man must chose to remain connected to that very same atonement. Bible teaches this clearly.
      Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all men and sanctification, without which no man shall see the Lord.

    Calvinism is the most biblically contradictory theology in Christianity. They distort the gospel of CHRIST as they claim CHRIST only died for a few instead of all which deems CHRIST as deceitful as this view is compared to Mark 16 : 15 when CHRIST told HIS apostles to go into the whole world and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE .
    Was CHRIST telling them to go tell that man over there that HE died for him when in truth HE didn't? No ! And this is considered to be blasphemy to actual Bible believers who takes scripture and the fear of GOD seriously .

    At the 53-minute mark it is said of God that He is sovereign, and that He gets to determine what He wants to do. I have heard many preachers repeat this same error. This is incorrect, in that there are things that God cannot do, such as lie, or commit any sin. A better way to phrase it, is to say that:
    1. God is "All Mighty."
    2. God is "All Powerful."

      GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - Before Christ's Ministry:

      SALVATION - was by works and belief in God and following the Law of Moses, that the priests taught.

      SALVATION - was by works and striving till the end and keeping the Law of Moses. This gospel was taught by Jesus (while on earth) and Peter and the 11.

      Christ died for our sins. That’s what scripture says. You however, say that “Our sins were forgiven at the cross”. This cannot be skipped over.
      Scripture teaches our sins are washed away by the blood of Christ. It is in Romans 6 that we contact the blood of Christ by being baptized into His death, v3. Please study the verse you provided and compare it to what you typed, for they are conflicting.

    • @RayRay-jf5hf
      @RayRay-jf5hf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Viking4Christ There are conflicting verses within the bible. However, the Bible does not contradict itself.
      The reason for the conflicting verses within the New Testament, is because of the two separate gospels mentioned in the New Testament.
      The nation of Israel had the gospel of the kingdom, and we "the body of Christ," have the gospel of grace (the gospel of Christ.")
      So, you are saying that Christ did not die for our sins, unless we have a baptistry to get "water baptized" in? Water baptism was for the nation of Israel, and "water baptism" never forgave anyone of their sins - it only put those sins in remission, until Jesus Christ returns to earth, after the Tribulation. For proof, please see Acts 3:19 where their sins would not be fully "blotted out" until Christ returns to earth.
      Peter told the nation of Israel that they killed Jesus who was both Lord and Christ. Acts Chapter 2 was a "murder indictment" against the nation of Israel.
      In fact, Peter spoke of the Tribulation in Acts 2:16-21.
      Acts2:16-21
      16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
      17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
      18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
      19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
      20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
      21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
      Now, you say that Romans 6:3 talks of "water baptism."
      Please show me in Romans 6:3 where it mentions anything about water or blood. No, you cannot, because Romans 6:3 is referring to spiritual baptism of those within "the body of Christ."

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”
      ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:18-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      This scripture is referring to water baptism when it states the baptism is not for the removal of filth from the flesh, if your in the flesh it’s the only time you would wash filth from your flesh, if you are in the spirit you wouldn’t have filth of the body.

Mr. White also at 6:42 slams our brothers again with the soft "Not much of an audience...". Why is that relevant? Its the truth being preached or its not. at 6:45 Mr. White says arrogantly "Well, were going to help them out here...and make it one of their bigger episodes...". This is so cocky and haughty. This is not how Christians disagree with each other. Mr. White then claims there are misrepresentations and straw man arguments given by Scott, Aaron and Tucker, I have not seen any of that accusation attested to as true. Mr. White is not only defying the Apostles who shaded this type of speaking and debate, he is intellectually dishonest when he replies, muddying the water, misdirecting and not addressing the points from a biblical stand point. Our gospel says that forgiveness of sins and salvation are separate events. Our gospel says that our sins were forgiven on the cross, and our gospel also says that we are saved by believing the gospel. So, it is very easy to be saved. We only have to believe in Christ and His finished cross-work.
    I Corinthians 15:1-4
    1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
    Now, concerning verse 2 where it says that we are saved if we believe the gospel, unless we believed in vain. We cannot believe in vain if we believe in the gospel and what Christ accomplished on the cross.
    We do believe in vain, WHEN we believe that we can that we "do anything in the flesh" for our salvation. When we believe in vain, we are not saved!!!

      @Ray Ray Paul saw Christ on the road to Damascus and prayed for 3 days and his sins were not forgiven until baptism (Acts 22:16). Remember James 2:19 Even the demons believe and tremble, you know they’re not saved.
      Acknowledging Christ died for your sins doesn’t save you. And be careful to say “our gospel says.” Its not “your gospel.” It’s either the gospel of the scripture or it is not. Also, Compare Romans 6:1-6 to I Cor 15. You will see that at baptism a person dies to self, is buried in baptism, and rises again to walk in newness of life just like how Christ died, was buried, and rose again in 1 Cor 15. That was the gospel good news that Paul preached at Corinth in which they stand. He preached Christ’s gospel.

      The wrath to come on jews was AD 70 when God used Rome to destroy the jews who rejected Christianity even after 40 years of preaching Christ. Not some unbiblical premillennialism. The wrath to come can be for anyone who rejects Christ. Judaism was destroyed completely by Rome, the temple was destroyed along with the Levitical priesthood ancestry, keeping any sacrifice from being made in atonement for jews sins according to the mosaic law.
      So there ought not to be any jew on earth from that moment forward that rejects Christ and remain in Judaism which is a dead religion.
