This thing has better performance in the mtf50 graph and for cos than the GM version. It even beats or holds up to the more expensive GM versions released in the last 2 years in terms of raw resolution.
I'm slowly becoming skeptical of these Viltrox vidoes, I think they are motivated by traffic / pleasing the algorithm. I got the 20mm and 40mm and they aren't great. Autofocus there is weirdly unpredictable and as a result sharpness is very difficult to achieve. Kind of goes against all reviews on those at least, therefore I just don't know, it undermines confidence.
