  • Paradise Lost - Live Death
    06 Rotting Misery
Recorded by legendary video mavericks Jettisoundz at the Queens Hall Bradford, England on 4th November 1989 to coincide with the release of Paradise Lost's debut album, Lost Paradise, Live Death demonstrates just why Peaceville Records were so eager to sign them. Pioneers of the Death Metal movement, the band went on to become one of the biggest names on the European Heavy Metal scene.
This legendary video recording brings you not only visuals of the band in their near infancy but, at last, you can hear the live sound as it was meant to be heard. Not for the faint of heart.

1989 I'd catch the last bus home from my girlfriend's house - Nick was often sat at the back on the way home from rehearsal. I knew he had a band with Aaron, who was a young lad we knew in passing from monthly metal nights at the Bull.
Spent so many nights seeing bands at the Queens Hall, both in the ballroom and downstairs in the cellar bar.

This is classic and funny. You can see how inexperienced they were, so young-kids, kinda played like shit HAHA. WOW, time has allowed them to mature and grow into better experienced musicians.

Bewitching Charm they only became worse after they stopped with their death/doom sound.
