Nigerian gospel is sung all over African churches and even all around the world (way maker, narekele mo, igwe, too Faithfull etc). I can't name 1 south african gospel song. Also you need to remember that aftobeat has diffrent genres like afrobeat pop, afrobeat rnb (ex: essence by wizkid ft Tems), afrobeat hip hop, emo afrobeat (ex: love nwantiti by Ckay) etc. It's not like Nigeria can't do rnb, hip hop etc, it's just that Nigeria doesn't want to copy other genres and would rather make music with It's traditional sounds.
