If you're considering a trip to Thailand, Bangkok should be one of the cities you visit! Bangkok is one of the most visited places in the world, and for good reason. This city is filled with culture, architecture, shopping, and most important, GREAT Food!
In this video I head down to the Sathon or Sathorn district of Bangkok, also known as the Business district to check out the Makro that's located here. Makro in Thailand is a big warehouse that sells produce, meats, dairy, food and house hold items along with many other things. Basically a one stop shop. I think of it as the COSTCO of Thailand because it's very similar to the Costco warehouses in the United States, but I think it's on an even larger scale. They have even more things than a regular Costco location and I think it's even better. There were so many things and I had a great time getting lost wandering around the warehouse. Hope you enjoyed the Makro tour as much as I did.

My condo I’m staying at is about 40 minutes away. It’s not too far off the Chong Nonsi BTS station. About a 25 minute walk or quick bike ride.
They do offer delivery if you order more than 1000 baht worth I believe.
Makro has a new competitor now: Go Wholesale, worth a visit. Tops Club was supposed to be the Thai Costco but refused to undercut prices with their other retail formats, so failed. Go Wholesale is a re-try, but this time copies Makro closely. It has some different inventory, plus has the roasted chicken loss-leader like Costco. Competition is good.
