BEST Places to Stay & Eat in Seville, Spain

- We are back for the second time to Spain! Today we will visit Seville. Many people come to Spain and don't go to Seville. BIG MISTAKE! Seville is a magical place full of things to see and do! Seville quickly became one of our favorite places in Spain.
We are staying at the Nobu Hotel Seville. This boutique hotel has 25 rooms and suites. This hotel is newly renovated and sits right in the heart of Seville, across from City Hall, making everything an easy walk. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, gym, and a very nice rooftop with amazing views of the city and a pool. I can't imagine you could find a nicer hotel more conveniently located.
Our room was #106- a zen Jr. suite. The room was spacious with a sitting/working are, a VEY large bathroom with tub and separate shower. The amenities are numerous and feature the Eight & Bob Les Essentials line. We found the room extremely comfortable.
After settling into our room we took a walk through this charming city. We soon found ourselves at Plaza del Espana or Spain Square. This is a spot NOT to be missed! A MUST SEE! It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many times you can catch a Flamenco Performance. We did and it was amazing! The tile work here and the huge fountain are worth the visit alone.
Now, where to eat? We went to an authentic Spanish restaurant, Maria Trifulca. Now, they didn't speak much English here and that should not keep you away. We are by no means fluent in Spanish and we were able to manage just fine. This restaurant is NOT a tourist destination. It is a more locals spot. It sits right along the Guadalquivir River making the views amazing. They have both inside and outside seating. The food is good Spanish food. The food and the experience were both a home-run for us!

So fun! I love the trivia on the tiles. Here in California, since there were a lot of missions by the Spaniards long ago, we have some cities here that are heavily influenced by them and yes, we see some of those beautiful tiles here too. Not in my county but at a drivable distance.☺️

Airport 7, Flight 5...you all are professional travelers. Happy birthday again! The hotel was the bright spot for me. It was so clean and beautiful. A central location is the best. It keeps you from wasting money on transportation etc.
This trip isn't over! We still have more airports, a train ride, 2 rental cars, a ferry and 4 more airports! It was something! Probably the most ambitious trip we've taken. Thank God, truly, that He helped us and gave us favor everywhere we went. Believe it or not we had NO issues. It was a miracle in my book! In America, I have found it is not the same, lol, because of the different dialects here. I love the language and wish I was more fluent. However with my southern accent, it doesn’t sound quite the same😂
