As a brass guy, I can tell you that was some intense circular breathing. A major as a musician, I can also tell you that nothing bums you out more than doing something really good like that, and not getting any applause for it.
every instrument has intense circular breathing, like saxophone, if you circular breathe wrong blood would just flow from your nose

Although his stage name is Trombone Shorty, he's one of the baddest trumpet players on the planet. His sound, command of the instrument, and musicality is unreal.

That trumpet solo was astounding, but can we talk about how awesome the drummer was? He was amazing at adjusting his tempo during the trumpet solo, and not only that, you can see how much soul he's putting into it and how happy he is to be there.

Believe me, he was not! the control breathing on him was amazing so he was not struggling. He took a big breath of air for the final notes and that was enough to make this astonishing solo!

I am always amazed by the technique of circular breathing. It's astounding.
Circular breathing on a trumpet, or a trombone; my foot. I'll have to see it and be close enough to tell the sound is coming from the horn. Great PA system to play the CD while Shorty mimed. What was that groups name Nillie Minillie or maybe it was Millie whatever or something like that that did the same thing. Shorty's just horsin' around for the ignorant to make money and appear on day and late night shows. Ms. Denise, listen to the masters of jazz, late '40s thru early '60s & you'll think Shorty is a clown.

That circular breathing was just bloody boring. ROLAND KIRK one of the early innovators of the technique would play melodic lines during his 3/4 minute solo without pausing for breath. All the same a very talented musician without the tricks.

+Alex Sohl just try it out in the bed when you go to sleep. Someday you will do it. It's easy when you get the trick. I have a friend that can do it for 30 minutes on a tuba...

As someone who has breathed air for 13 years, i can confirm thats some impressive breathing skills
I dont know if it was the mic quality but i wish the audience was way more hyped up about it
I just saw these guys at the Snowy range Music Festival they had the whole crowd dancing and hanging on every note.there is always one band that far exceeds expectation and this band is it.you can't get half of what this sounds like live from a video.if you have not seen them go now you wont regret it.

Saw him supporting Jeff Beck last Oct. Every single person in the venue was blown away by them. Never seen a support band get such an ovation, and rightly deserved. Would love to see them again
