As a tank user and a roamer, I approve of these tips and tricks. BTW JUST A REMINDER. Giving vision to your teammates doesn't require you to put yourself in the center of your enemy, just peeking and knowing their position is good enough so that you can avoid getting poke damage and picked up then end up dead. Important Things to do when Rotating: Vision and Information about your enemy Bush Checking - Avoid getting ambushed Signal or Team communication/Coms using Quick Chat or Dragging the Attack Button
I agree to your points as well. Perhaps, what LuRu is pointing in putting your body up and center is on instances when the enemies are diving in to invade the buff or it's go time to take the last hit on the lord, then maybe the last resort that you can do other than doing your best to zone the enemy out with your skills and body is by putting yourself out there to zone them out and take aggro. At least, that's what I get from his point. :D
I am really glad to see a fellow tank user and I appreciate you sharing your detailed tips! The other user pretty much nailed my point though in explaining haha I hope to see you more on my other videos! :)
As a roamer/tank main there is one rule i have. I don’t pick tank for the reason of tanking below mythic because your team feeds anyway and they don’t pay attention to the map. I pick harass roamer like hilda sprint heptaseas and tank items, carmilla vengeance tank items for massive teamfight damage, baxia vengeance tank items for maximum damage taken antiheal and fast rotation, edith flicker tank items for stun lock and damage. Mythic and above i can use setter type tank that don’t deal damage like tigreal, mino, atlas, and support like lolita if the enemies have many range heroes and no knock up, rafaela if our core is a slow moving tank like fredrin, barats etc.
@@SCM-DARSHANDASHRATHPADVEKAR just pay attention to the enemy core and roamer. if they are squishy, pick hilda to own the enemy jungler (example saber roam and ling jungler). pay attention to the enemy skills if they are high cd or burst damage like vale, eudora, tigreal aamon pick baxia (dive in to bait their ulti on you because your damage hurts even when having tank items if u see them casting their ulti, use vengeance then use first skill and out) your allies will have an easy time going in because eudora dont have ulti or vale dont have skills. Also baxia with vengeance can solo kill the marksman. if the enemies are low mobility fighters or mm like freya aulus badang clint estes, pick carmilla and combo with vexana or gatot for easy wipe out. Enjoy.
@@daledael5263 that's great man, ig as per current matches Hilda will be useful but carmilla and vexana combo looks insane, carmila link and vexana's damage godly combo, I hope baxia will get buffs soon I love to use him will try to use him more. Thanks for the advice brother
Whenever i play Grock, i would usually immediately rotate to enemy's blue buff to either provide vision or try to steal the buff if the enemy is taking it. It's great for baiting the enemy's retri and sometimes u could get the buff too 😂
As a Grock main player, I tend to do this as well but as an additional pro tip, there are a couple of options you can take and consider. 1. If the enemy core is super reliant on purple buff like fanny or ling then we have to emphasize on pressuring them on their jungles 2. You may help clear the first minion wave from the mid lane with your first skill then invade along with your mage. Grock is very good in doing this and you may even potentially get a kill from the enemy mage 3. If you cannot do any of the above options and it is very hard to invade with the enemy line up, you may just annoy them by blocking their buff monster with your wall in a way that it would have to go all the way around the camp just to get back to its place. This would delay the enemy core big time and is very annoying. Plus, you're safe from a distance and could do it all over again.
@@Dezron Lol that is true! But that's what the channel is all about, guides to improve our gameplay and performance consistently to increase our rank :)
As a roamer main, I can totally relate specially after pinging retreat many times. Sometimes, people would misunderstand my intent when I'm diving or baiting the enemies that are chasing my core/mm. They thought that we'd go to fight but my intention is for them to go back and for me to try and stop them from chasing.
I thinlk that helping the midlaner clear and/or pick off enemy midlaner is the better option rather that trying to get vision on the enemy jungler. You can use a quick math to predict what jungle monster the enemy started with. If they have the same gold when your jungler got his first buff, then they started at the opposite types of buff, at the same side of the map, and therefore, there's a high chance that the enemy jungler will contest the lithowanderer. Helping the midlaner clear and lowering enemy midlaner's hp should geatly help with the litho clash. You might even be able to secure some greens on the enemy's side. But it's still a case to case basis. It depends on what type of jungler you and the enemy have (utility, assassin, or mm jungle), other variables like leashing and such can affect this.
I totally agree with everything and I appreciate your input! :) Helping the mid laner clear the first wave and potentially killing the enemy mid would open up a lot of aggressive play options for the team but as you said, it totally depends on the situation and dare I say, it also depends on how good your teammate is
I agree that this guide doesn't apply to all situations as there are different things and other situations to factor in. Which is why I provided as many samples as I could for different situations. I'd also provide some Pro tips for roamers soon (not specific to rotation)
I don't think so. This is a great value guide, well explained and deep on details about strategy and decision making. Those are important skills and knowledge for any situation, you should give it another try, this time wide open.
