Is it correct that you need a square enix account and then needs to pay a monthly fee to Square Enix to play this? If so how much is it. Was going to download the free trial until I realized that it will be another monthly cost similar to World of Warcraft and other games. As you said there is a limit to how many of theese you can handle at the same time (due to both economy and time).

Yes the game has a subscription but dont mind it JUST PLAY THE FREE TRIAL, I promise you the free trial is so fucking big that you will just KNOW if you actually want to pay for the game or not. Also the free trial is literally not even time limited (you can LITERALLY have 1000+ hours ON FREE TRIAL). The free trial has 2 ENTIRE EXPANSION that include 5 new classes + the base game classes. With that said dude dw you should just play free trial for now.
And if you really want to pay for the subscription : - What they call the "starter pack" is basically the free trial, you can either pay for it or enjoy the free trial - Then if you actually want the whole game you just have to buy the "endwalker expansion" it contains every past expansion which is why it costs a lot. - then you got to pay a subscription every month (it is 11€ where I live I guess its 11$ or smth in dollars)

Ya I didn't think it would happen, stopped 14 about 5 years ago, want to play my character on my series S but I don't like the double whammy cost, it's the principal of it, not the actual dollar amount, the double cost gets under my skin and affects my enjoyment of the game.
I knew it was possible cuz ff11 was on Xbox 360 and square Enix is technically third party. They’ve only really had timed exclusives for the most part in the last decade. The only other one we don’t have is ff7 remaster and it’s in parts so I wouldn’t want it now anyways. Anything that runs on windows is easily portable to Xbox.

It took far tooooo long for this top be on xbox but very happy to see it has come to xbox.
Im fine with 1080p 60fps 1080p is more than enough however 60fps is golden
1080 60fps is what i aimed for when buying a series s.....its just criminal when games like monster hunter world run at 720p LOOOOOOL
