So many videos i've watched regarding headlight restoration and this one is really genuine. Thanks for sharing bro. My foggy headlight got restored thanks a lot. Everyone must try. Highly recommended this technique 💪
2K is in no way meant for plastic head lights. It looks great for 6 months or a year or so but then it will start to degrade and because it doesn't yellow the damage to your plastic head starts behind the coating. And 2K doesn't have UV blockers that's why the plastic will show damage. Any "real" professional headlight pro knows this.
Been following your headlight restoration videos for awhile now and i just wanna say thank you for the content and lessons. As a subscriber i just wanna know what is better the 2K restoration or the ceramic coating restoration? Thanks again for the videos and keep uo the great work sir
I enjoyed this video. To do this at an apartment complex in windy conditions, this came out great. How long total to complete start to finish? What price range did you charge for this? I do love the care you take with the wrapping of the vehicle.
Thanks bro! About 2 hrs in total, I did the best I could do considering the conditions! I charged my mobile price for this one. I have pricing on my website
Hi nice work, i have one question, what is the time waiting between the two coats, and as i saw after the first coat you wiped the headlights with some orange thing was is wet ?
Hello! Regarding the 2k, I’m looking to start a side business and since the pot life is only 48 hours any advice on another clear (perhaps a 1k) where the pot life is not an issue? Don’t want to be spending $30 on a can of 2k that goes to waste after one use. Any advice is appreciated.
Hey, cans can be purchased for less than $20 of you find a local auto paint shop. You can do 2-3 sets of headlights in one day with one can. There is no other alternative for clear coat unfortunately

Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this my friend. God Bless🎉
You’re welcome bro! 🫡
So helpful. What is the recovery if you do a bad job on the clear coat? How long does a 2K can last once it is activated?
Would it be better to use plastic primer instead of a first light coat of 2k ?

Se puede aparte de lijar pulir el óptico y luego de eso aplicar el 2k? Gracias
No, the 2k needs to be applied over a rough surface for it to bond properly
@ entendido, muchas gracias!
Thats was nicely done ✔️ 👏 Question do you worry about how hot the headlights gets or Could you just use any kind of clear?
Thank you bro! I would go with strictly 2K clear coat!

@@modernvehiclecare Perfect! appreciate the advice!
Distilled or tap water when sanding?
For the clear coat, can I put the can in warm water for a couple minutes before spraying to avoid orange peel ?
Yes but I prefer in front of a space heater or leave it in a car with the heat on
