Love getting to hear the great Johnny Olson as announcer for this episode. Very rare to hear him say "It's Password Plus", and also for him to say "Allen Ludden!" He didn't do too many of Ludden's shows (to my memory).
The way Allen said “happy Mother’s Day” to betty at the end killed me😭🥰🥺 gosh Allen is such a gentlemen there’s not many out there like him anymore. Miss both of them together!
Actually if you listen carefully to the end, Allen says to Betty,"Happy Anniversary". I also thought at first he said Happy Mother's Day, but I listened again and actually heard what he said. Also during the show, he makes a reference to it being the day before his anniversary, so that's what made me listen closely at the end of the episode.
And now Allen and Betty are reunited
Only if they believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. If not, they are both in hell.
This episode announced by the legendary Johnny Olson.
How can anyone not adore Allen?????
Allen is so much more relaxed than the early years.
Wow! Two quick $5,000 Alphabetics wins in this episode of Password Plus.

Yup, taped 6/13/80 Fri. Anniversary 6/14.
John Lamour has the most perfect shiny hair, doesn't even move!
We will never have a classy host like Allen Ludden . Today's game show hosts have to be either clowns or nasty wizards .
Yup and they make the show all about them instead of the contestants
Wendy would later be on Press Your Luck in 1983
NBC, around this time, cancelled 3 game shows.
A year after this particular installment of _P+_ aired on NBC, Allen Ludden would himself be cancelled, the victim of stomach cancer.
Allen died on June 8, 1981.
@Diane Newman I'm reading a book about Allen. It's a fairly large book with small print. So it will take me awhile to read!
@@marthamagruder3698 Allen Ludden died June 9, 1981. Not on June 8
I heard Rumor that if Allen Ludden was still Alive he would of did Super Password 🤔
Is it the father of Rudy and Samwise?
