Photographing Birds in the TREE OF FIRE - Welcome to my Mumbai Rooftop

- Every year, when the Mumbai summer is at its peak, the trees that caress my rooftop turn into a paradise for several species of urban birds. It's the time of the year, just before the monsoons, when the Gulmohar and African Tulip trees bare vibrant, flowers. These fiery blooms are a bird photographer's delight, adding the choicest of nature's hues into the composition.

Thanks to my wife, Akshita, for helping me spot the birds whilst filming and subtitling assistance.
Filmed & photographed on my Canon EOS R5C. For optics, I used the RF 800mm f5.6 IS USM, thanks to Canon India.
Shoutout to Accord Equips Mumbai for the tripod support.

Before I travel to Tadoba National Park to film my second Tiger series, I wanted to bring you a little slice of nature. Every summer, the Gulmohar and African Tulip trees that caress my Mumbai rooftop, bare vibrant floral blooms. The flowers are an absolute delight for bird photography with the colour contrast that thy render. Here's celebrating a small fraction of our urban ecosystems.

When will you be visiting Tadoba, Last week of this month?
Wish you a very best for Tadoba 😊😊
Great video again. Short and crisp with the lovely colours of summer flowers and those birds. Love your presentation and truly waiting to see Tadoba through your lens. Hope the wait will not be too long 🙂
Hi Kenneth. Just visited your office today attracted by the photographs on display . They are amazing. I am your next door neighbor. I am a novice photographer just starting out. Would be glad to meet you when you are in the office.
your Channel is so underrated
Great to see the local birds in Mumbai. Lovely colours. 🐦
I see after some rainfall lots of birds roaming around here near my place. It's a paradise now for me as I've recently started birding and bird photography ❤️
please upload your videos every week or every month. They are so good.
Thanks for sharing your moment Sir
Great... Love ❤ from West Bengal...
Happy to see you after a long time. Still remember your terrace
🤠
The cute birds who love to co-exist with us. They have tiny claws to clamp the thin branches of the trees, they depend on the flowers for water and food, they never disturb anyone and always heal us by their sweets notes and soothing colours. And in reply, we just make them homeless and away from us by felling trees more and more and tell them to get out. Isn't it really planned murder?
Amazing.. really enjoyed watching.
lots of love from Nepal 🇳🇵❤❤
I also do bird photography 😊 Love to watch your videos. Thanks for sharing such awesome videos 😊
Beautiful
❤❤❤
I love to photograph urban birds. Thanks for sharing your day with us!
short but attractive as your all other videos !
Just fantastic Kenneth. Amidst the concrete jungle you got awesome shots of barbet tailor bird and the parakeet. It's wonderful what your camera can do. The photos of the clouds were beautiful too. Your video felt like real. Could feel the breeze. Thanks for the fantastic video

So beautiful ❤
Absolutely gorgeous! I never heard of a barbet before... they are wonderful!
Been following your work for several months now. Thank you for the excellent, National geography quality video narrations. Like Raheja sir, there's another great Indian wild life photographer-story teller. We don't need some outsiders to tell our jungle tales. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for your kind appreciation. I do however request you to value all story tellers and not to categorise anybody as an insider or outsider. Without political borders, we're all one people sharing one home. ❤️
Awesome 😎
Amazing ❤

I remember watching ur old videos shooting like this ❤
Where all the birding began! 🤠
sir you should consider going to Ranthambore... I recently had a great experience going there
❤❤❤❤ for 4 different species and please keep uploading short videos like this . Once in a week. We love to see your videos.
There are 5 species. 🤠
❤❤
Missed you buddy
For me, having a APC sensor is really good, even if you have 12 - 24.1 megapixel. Just need to have a tele-lens so you won’t crop.
Very nice beautiful video. ❤ our best wishes for your next Tiger series 🐯 🐅 ❤❤👍
Thank you so much! 😃❤️✨
Hello Kenneth , it is always the most beautiful to watch your videos even though they are short or long. Same was this video too . The 800 mm lens is very huge and pretty too . I have 1 question for you, “ will taking photo u added a small pug kind of thing which kept in the bag Can u tell me what was that please .???.“
Thank you, my friend. I plug a 100w power bank into my R5C for a longer battery backup whilst filming. :)
Why can't a lens with this length beat the Nikon P1000 3000mm focal length?
Very nice, i like the different approach to the video making. It makes it more authentic.
I very much like your tripod head, could you send me a link of the type you use?
Thank you. The tripod in this video is the Secced Reach Plus 2 Kit. There's a link to an economical alternative in the video description.

Hi sir what is the best camera for wildlife photography? 📸
The 'best camera' is the one that fits your budget.
@@KennethLawrencePhotography in 2,00,000 sir best camera 📸
You can check out the Canon R8 and R10. Compare the specs and see which one is best for you. Remember that you need to budget for a lens as well. The RF 100-400 & 100-500mm are a good place to start.

Hi sir
Hi Kenneth, love watching your videos, especially the birdy ones! I'm always looking to see how you set up your shots and compose the videos, it really gives me some inspiration for my own videos ( th-cam.com/channels/Lbk9r_sjenwNslq9rzkDyw.html ) . Thanks for all the tips and I look forward to seeing where you go next - India is such a fascinating country and I hope to be able to get there one day.
