Many thanks for a brilliant tutorial. Remember, if you have YOULEAN LOUDNESS METER on the master output to select 5.1 from the options, as it defaults to stereo!
Great video thanks for this! Was having a nightmare trying to get 5.1 to import to Premier Pro correctly. Just deleted my last 4 videos which where '5.1' but actually 6 channels rendering as Mono...
@@Not-Only-Reaper-Tutorials well first of all the video discusses how to create a 5.1 soundtrack in reaper, yes? Secondly reaper is primarily an AUDIO application, no? And finally 5.1 surround is the default format for the most prolific surround medium for MUSIC ever: DVD-A I hope I've answered your question & if you can't answer mine then don't worry about it!!🤷♂️
Actually you aren't correct about the tutorial. Indeed the video is blatantly explaining how to get surround sound FOR VIDEO application. Which is the environment where normally you use the 5.1 more frequently. As in the video is said: Smart TVs, appropriately equipped, can decode it quite easily. Hence your question is out of topic in this tutorial. However for production of multichannel music, the "regular folks" should have a decoder. You like or not, things are on that way. As Dolby and X MPEG Licensee I can tell you that something like Dolby Pro Logic (in music 5.0 is used not 5.1), Dolby Digital (in music 5.0 is used not 5.1),, Dolby Atmos is entering in the game. Thank you Tormy.
Great video Tormy.
I'm curious as to what reverb plugin you used for the video. Kindly share. Thank you.
It's the native reverb plug-in shown is the one of DaVinci Studio.
Great Video!

Hey, how did you put the plug in to be at view within the track itself?
Do you mean the Tukan's VU-METER?
How to burn this to a disc that regular folks can play?
It's not known what has to do the content of this video with what you are asking for.
