They need to either make, or give the option of the target reticle to be bigger. A little white dot in all that noise makes it really hard to aim sometimes.
@@hardy83 It is okay for me since it is just the center of the screen, but having an option to make it more visible (some kind of crosshair like you get when using Action Cam without mount, maybe?) would be a very good addition, agree on that.
The hardest part was just getting everyone on the same page as we were seeing it for the first time. This kinda reminds me of Octovine. Everyone thought it was sooo hard at first. Now its done flawlessly in like 4 or 5 mins.
The map I was on that managed it was a bit of a cluster-F lol, but we killed it. Personally I think it's a good 2nd map meta boss, and we need to remember that we don't have the actual final map metaboss yet as the 3rd map won't be fully complete until release 3 :) Oh, and little PSA re the skyscale aiming. Position your camera so that your character on the skyscale's back is overlapping that which you want to hit. With the position you had yours in, you were aiming low most of the time ^_^
I think it's very good, afteral there are literal experts for dealing with kryptis so it makes sense it's not that hard. I personally like that the skyscale is used although it is a bit too much. We also gotta remember that this is not the last map and this honestly sets my expectations quite high for the final meta.
When firing the fireball on skyscale as soon as you press the button it swaps you to action camera to aim. Its not a mouse aim ability. Theres a teeny tiny white circle under your character somewhere. That circle is where the fireball will go.
It is definitely not hard. But I’m just so happy to see something that isn’t a dragon or jade. When I started playing Soto I realized I was absolutely tired of the whole EoD aesthetic and needed something different. This pre is less tedious than DE’s pre too.
There is a bit of skill expression potential for the skyscale combat with the aiming, but all targets are static. maybe if the lasers were moving and you have to fire while avoiding them.
i think i was part of one of the first random groups to do the meta, didnt even have fireball yet, most didnt it seemed, only like 10 ppl killing tentacles on the tower, still beat it, ez meta, not as hard as DE
Phase 1 looked like a fun strike style fight. Phase 2 looks like a boring version of destiny's gambit but with skyscales. Collect and dunk *yawn*. Boss fight looks interesting although the teleport to darkness is very janky
Standard gw2 - important thing is that bags gets full and many ppl need to buy another slot or run like stupid and convert 1000 currencies to 1000 others to merge some, mix some and get 3 units of something worth but needed in 1000 :D
I was part of a group that beat this last night. It's not as hard as EOD's final was at first
if you press and hold the fire ball skill it will allow you to aim
You can aim without holding it too. There is a split second before it fires where you can adjust. But thanks for the tip :D didnt know u could hold
I usually just change to Action Cam, that makes it pretty easy to aim

It tells you all of this. It even tells you that its a charge shot. What do you people look at lol

but this is easier than octavine.. octavine was actually a pain in the ass back in HOT launch.
This is not a pain..

i have completed the meta twice now but still am not quite sure wtf is going on or what im supposed to be doing
If you see skyscale launchers jump, if you see a champ go down

WHAT? The Skyscale use is the coolest part of any meta ever.

yes no more green things !!!!
We did it last night as one of the first it was chaotic but pretty doable

frogman boonstealer confirmed best spellbreaker player
this is cool af
I have to say I quite enjoyed this event, especially when it randomly started up right after it completed 🙃.
when i did this meta on release there was 3 comms and squads so pretty sure its 100 ppl a map im not sure th9
compared to the EOD at launch this is childsplay, it is even way easier than current dragons end
i think i was part of one of the first random groups to do the meta, didnt even have fireball yet, most didnt it seemed, only like 10 ppl killing tentacles on the tower, still beat it, ez meta, not as hard as DE
From what I understand, you have to kill tenty tenacles.
From what I understand, tentacles be tenti.
this in not the last map of this region there is still a large boss beyond the clouds, lol
brings back memories of dark age of camelot: trials of atlantis for some reason, I think it's the scale 😅❤
Abbadon?

Them ol'wigglies
i loooove pressing action keys to kill bosses, cleanse people and collect orbs as gameplay in my favourite mmorpg.
;)
It is raid mechanics

Testicles meta
This meta is more fun and easier than EOD.
3:09 from this line I suddenly had a flashback to Belle Delphine for some reason
current DE is way better. they shoudl do that but on the scale of this new meta
Rewards suck as per usual and FPS drop during this fight is not ok.
