@@BrownCandyPaint Not sure, but try black satin sponge rollers with the black satin sleeve. I use those to define curls on my silk press. And the self-grip in the front for a looser curl. My hair is still a short pixie but looks full.
Do you have a good method for preserving this hairstyle for more than a day? My hair is the same length and cut now. I'll spend close to an hour curling it, it'll be cute for a day but it gets frizzy so fast..don't even get me started if it's a teeny bit humid outside that night..I wake up with my fro all over again lol
I usually put some oil in my hands and lightly distribute it through my hair trying not to mess up the curls too much. The oil for me works as a barrier to the humidity. Then at night (if i have time) i would pin curl as many curls as i can work from the edges up to the center. Sometimes I would even just pick out the curls that were starting to fall ( the lazy route). Put a bonnet over it and don't sleep super wild lol. I can get an extra day out of the curls. Then I start wearing head bands, scarfs, hats etc until I wash it.
You should twist the blinds up (where the bottom faces in the room). It's usually really good at blocking the sun so you don't have those lines that you hate...lol
Ion had this new creme bleach in a tube that I used for my last few touch ups. I mixed it with Ion's developer. It had the best lift for my hair and of course I toned it with a well toner. I also always used Olaplex and a developer that was 10v higher since olaplex brings it down 10v.
