Installing Conduit for Generator and Drainage Lines in One Trench

In this video we will trench by hand and with a skid steer to install electrical conduit for the purpose of remoting a backup generator behind our shop. Additionally we will be installing drainage lines and some water and gas lines as well.

Question.. Why not lay the electrical out and slide the conduit down on the wres instead of pulling the wires through the conduit?

Good question. Couple of answers. Normal electrical practice is to install conduit first and then pull in the wire. But for me the bigger reason is that the wire that I'm going to need is going to be $2k+ so I'm going to pull in the wire in a subsequent phase. However, wire could definitely be threaded as the conduit is installed.
