I've used this mask for about a year. I tried it straight out of the box and hated it. I did the usual toothpaste treatment to it. I love this mask. I love the low volume. I've had it to 120' and don't get the squeeze. I also love this mask for Florida cave diving. When you're entering a high flow system the low profile is great. Several of my dive buddies are looking into getting one. Hope this helps.
How come Simply Scuba doesnt contact a Major Mask Manufacturer like Cressi, and request masks with different side skirts, for different face shapes? I can't say who, but a know an Instructor that has 4 custom size masks for sale only from his shop, because he has a "special" deal with that company. Imagine if you got say: "I got a custom fit mask." ...sounds nice huh?
Hi, I Love your videos. I own a Cressi Calibro for about 1 year and this mask is total disappointment for me. I dive in temperatures ranging from 13⁰C to 30⁰C and I have a frequent fogging issue with it. My Last dive was a total hell and I frequently use my backup mask. You May ask why I keep using Cressi Calibro if it is annoying for me. Well, here in Brazil this mask isn't cheap and I really pushed to adapt myself to it. But I gave up. I TOTALLY NOT RECCOMEND Cressi Calibro and thr "anti-fog" system is a total lie
@@sergioseixas7153 mine has never fogged. Ever. I used a lighter on the lenses and then scrubbed with toothpaste. Before my dive i either spit in it or i use baby shampoo mixed with water, swirl it around and give a quick dip in the water to rinse. Never ever fogs. You are doing something wrong
Sergio, try to leave some Coca-Cola (it's very acidic) in your mask (lens covered completely) for a night. Then, just before diving, put some shampoo in your mask and spread it well in the lenses and do not wash it away completely, leave a thin film of it on the lense and don your mask. If you remove the mask before diving, like at the surface, all that is for nothing. The mask will fog up. If it's very hot weather and the water is cold, also chill your face with cold water before wearing the mask. Another thing that helps is to not leave the mask in the mask box. The silicon of the skirt 'off gas' in the box and deposits a thin layer on the glass. This will cause your mask to fog all the time. I know it's weird but it is true. This is all I know and it serves me good for 18 years of professional diving (so many masks!)😁
I have used the Calibro mask for more than two years. I bought my second one recently, but I know it's not a good choice. Its small volume and narrow size, are essential to me, but the marks that it leaves on your face when you take it off last for at least 3 hours. I do not recommend it at all, unless you are happy showing your ugliest face and enduring the pressure while using it.
I have the same. I'm from Greece 🇬🇷! I don't know if he have put, or try ever that mask... or they pay him to say that. But the mask is disappointing 😞 but I believe no because they are small for me ,and I'm half of him...
Just got mines and extremely disappointed, I’m trying it at home and I can’t even breathe in this 💩! It’s super small!! DONT buy!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 returning and looking for a different brand that makes mask for man not little kids
