Congratulations on one year vegan - not only is it good for you, good for the animals, it’s great for the planet!
Would love to hear more about your Acne journey as someone who is still dealing with it in my twenties.

Hey, I'm a vegetarian who wants to become vegan. Unfortunately, my society (South Korea) is not very familiar with plant-based diets, so I'm facing some challenges. I'm planning to go to Australia next year, and my goal is to become vegan. I've heard that almost all restaurants in Australia offer vegan options. Is that true? By the way, congratulations for 1st vegan anniversary 🖤

bummer it's not easy in south korea, hopefully more options will come soon! yeah in australia it's a lot more accessible, even compared to the US. best of luck :-)

I appreciate the moral code behind your eating lifestyle, that is rare to see now days, I am against enslaving animals because they are earthlings and should be free from product/consumer cycle, from my point of you I don't see eating meat is wrong, when I look into nature wild animals prey on meat, but they don't build slaughterhouses and barns, they chase free beings, maybe if you look at it from spiritual perspective beyond flesh and bones perhaps you could accept it, I respect your choices and I will leave you with these poetic writings:
When you kill a beast say to him in your heart,
By the same power that slays you, I too am slain; and I too shall be consumed.
For the law that delivered you into my hand shall deliver me into a mightier hand.
Your blood and my blood is naught but the sap that feeds the tree of heaven.
And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart,
Your seeds shall live in my body,
And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart,
And your fragrance shall be my breath,
And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons.
