Maybe if you only casually browse the web and do really basic phone tasks. The screen, speakers, performance, and cameras are all significantly worse than the S22, as expected from a cheaper device.

I have this phone with Visible. What a mistake. I highly suggest no one buys this phone unless you're a river boat gamber. I've had it for almost 2 months, the hotspot feature used to work then it just stopped working for no reason. Visible tech support has no idea why it's glitching and neither does TCL tech support. Also I can't stop Google Messages from popping up the text messages on the screen when they come in. That's also glitched out. All the software switches in settings are grayed out. This is my last TCL phone for sure. Maybe they make better TVs but they are a long ways away from producing a good cell phone. Visible would not issue me a refund or an even exchange, because it started to glitch past the 14 day return window. They used to carry ZTE phones and dollar for dollar those were much better phones, I don't know why they don't carry them anymore. Also the phone is laggy when you're switching between apps. I just got the latest firmware update from TCL the other day and didn't fix anything.
Surprisingly going from a s22 to this phone, im not missing too much at all 👍🏾

Problem with TCL phones is the hardware/software support lags far far behind the big 2 budget phone makers, Samsung and Moto

I have a google pixel 7 and i had a moto g stylus 5g 2022 and before that i had a Samsung Galaxy AO3s
It actually has a IPS LCD not tft lcd
And I use my phone for playing Roblox and sometimes rec room

TCL phones just aren't well optimized. I'd get a Samsung or Motorola budget phone before a TCL phone.
Agree with you I'd also get a Samsung or Motorola phone over a TCL phone, TCL phones suck
TCL has the worst screens and cameras
I have the TCL20 5G the camera and audio are more than excellent. Get compliments on my camera quality all the time
