Gosh I love this more than the actual series it's promoting :)))) such interesting things to learn here! I want an Alexa Chung documentary series on the history of fashion ❤
This is a delightful series. Have really enjoyed Alexa as host, talking and walking us through Jacobean fashion and history. Like others have commented, I would love to see her do a ‘history of fashion’ documentary. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
Loved all the information with this Video. Very Interesting. I am viewing before I see the series. Also the top worn by you during the video (stripes of various strips of printed fabrics with shoulder solid and striped sleeves. Is it available? Is it your design?
Oh my goodness, It's happened. Someone NOT being put through discomfort or suffering (and complaining about it) when wearing the necessary close-fitted under-structures of historical dress...in mainstream media No, really, I love that she describes the feeling as "Reassuring".
I'm sure the clothing was more comfortable than what styles came before. But imagine wearing all those layers in the summer heat with no air conditioning to be had.
