Its running super rich dial the fuel flow on your carb and use gasket maker to stop that carb leak

All u did was screw that nut on the stud too much so the nut is botoming out on the air filter. Unscrew that nut then try to screw the stud in. Just look at the other stud

My bike has oil in the exhaust also. How does this happen, how do you stop it from happening?

Did you get oil in the air cleaner cut exhaust off of mount weld on a straight pipe un screw nut on carb bolt and screw it in all the way and tighten up the nut

That things running too rich, it shouldn't bog out when giving it throttle even on a cold start. But I'm sure you fixed it or don't use it anymore by now with it being over 2 years ago. They are very good motors if taken care of. I've got 2 of them on my go-karts.

uhhh idk if u will see my comment but if u have a gas leak its not safe with it spitting flames. also, the intake manifold could be causing the backfire.

Louis, No, it is a Hemi, it has the cast iron valve cover that all Hemi-variant predators and most small engines use, the Non-Hemi variant of predators have an aluminum valve cover. The engine has the stamped out ribs on the gas tank, which the Hemi variant of predators have, it has the exhaust from the Hemi model, everything about this engine tells me it is a Hemi variant predator 212 and yet you're here to tell me its not?

@@deimosphob It's actually cast aluminium, not iron valve cover on the Hemi, and the Non-Hemi has a steel valve cover so that, you got wrong...But the rest you are correct about!

@@jwallace7230 I was just assuming it was cast iron because that's what it looks like, I'm not the keenest eye when it comes to casting material, especially brand new cast material.

You can tell by the valve cover and the rectangular shape of the air filter housing and exhaust shield.
