I'm glad you put this here, i was TRYING to figure out what word you meant and couldn't figure it out. 😂😂🤣🤣 Monday. Anyway! Thank you so much, I'm not the best with this stuff either. But I do have the patience and sheer will to do things over and over until I figure it out. Then I'm happy to share where I've gotten. 😂😂🖤🖤🙏🙏
Awesome. I have just found your channel and now I'm a subscriber. Love your approach to this and your explanation is brilliant, thank you. Cheers from South Australia 🇦🇺
Holy cow! Just when I get educated and excited with jumpers, now I’m learning a new sketch tool. You are absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing all you do!
Wow! I have decided to do my own patterns and I have been struggling with it the whole week, realized I might need ti use a drawing software for it, but which one? How do I start? Like is not enough complicated to learn stained glass I also have to learn a software... What a rabbit hole did I get myself into... Despair. And boom! Here you are with your nagic ❤ Thanks!! Im so happy because you explain things so well.
Same. It took me alot of practice, tips and tricks to figure out how to draw what I had in my head. You can do it!! Thank you for watching and I can definitely do a follow up making her!
This is a very inspirational lesson. I have not used this program on this computer, but I certainly will now. You made it look so easy....thank you thank you.
For sure easy. I will say procreate deff has nicer features, and depending on what iPad you get, it obviously will change things further. Both are worth the money. But personally, I use my gpad almost always.
@@MakenzieHallie we have a super old iPad now, that I bought off a friend probably close to 8 years ago. lol anything would be an upgrade, but I’ve been holding off buying because they can be so expensive. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t even thought of google having their own type of pad 🤦🏻♀️ I’m going to look it up and check out its features :)
Definitely check them out. As usual you can get the same amount of storage, software, etc, for a much lower price because they aren't as MUCH of asshats like Apple. 😅🙃
@@MakenzieHallie haha 😂 I would agree! I’m definitely going to check it out, no point in getting something just for the name if there’s another that’s just as good for less $$. Really appreciate you giving me all the details :) have an amazing week!
Thank you! This has helped me tremendously. I’ve still got a lot of experimenting to do but this really helped me hugely! I may need to purchase an iPad or tablet though. My Lenovo chrome book I am unable to enlarge the program to make it easier to navigate. Maybe I need to experiment some more. Thank you!!!👏🏻❤
So glad I could help, even a little! And deff want it on the whole screen/able to easily adjust and scroll. Keep just messing around not making anything and it'll get easier every time. 🖤🖤🙏🙏 Hope all is going good these days!
@@MakenzieHallie improving but have a ways to go. A home improvement is taking forever (hubs doing it himself) and I’m tending to my 96 year old mom who gave us a huge health scare this summer. Much improved but my life as her caretaker has greatly increased. I’m slowly finding time but just barely right now. It’s left me unable to really spend time with my daughter and granddaughter as I can’t leave my mom home alone. Bright spot is she is improving and may be able to get her out to visit them in a few weeks. Your videos keep the creative ideas in my head and that’s very helpful. I look forward to your videos. ❤️
Being a full time caretaker is no easy job. Doesn't matter how much you love that person. Your doing a good job and just focus on those little positives. She's improving, maybe an outing on the horizon, that's a win. I know you don't have the time to create, but anytime you get inspiration or a good idea you want to do, maybe write it down? Kind of solidifies that you will be able to do it one day in your mind as well as just to help not forget like I would. 😂🖤 Wishing you, mom and hubby all the best. 🙏
@@MakenzieHallie that’s exactly what my goal is now to get my ideas on paper so to speak. And if I don’t I do forget. 🥹 This video helped me to get started on that. That process is exactly why I started doing stained glass. I want to take my family pet photos and make patterns to give as family gifts, so this video is perfect. Guess I’ll watch it 40 times to extract all the helpful hints and techniques. 😁😁😁
i have an iPad ai didn’t even know that app existed. I assume you could use this app to make patterns for fused glass? Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Great video! I have a couple of questions about printing. What kind of paper do you print on, regular copy paper or a thicker stock? Also, if you want to enlarge the drawing beyond a normal printer capability, do you take a memory stick to a printing company? If so, what file format should it be saved as? Thx!
Well, you don't NEED an iPad or a gpad. But it definitely helped me learn a lot with drawing. Cut the time in half vs. any other method I used to use. Plus, it's fun. Lol. But again, not necessary. I went many years not using my iPad or gpad/any app.

Thank you so much CJ!! 🖤
Would love to see you do this in stained glass. I have never used a gpad and you are so kind to share your knowledge with other artists. Thank you.
It's simple. I see Mackie's claw in the thumbnail - I click.

I just use regular paper! And if I want larger, I split it into sections and enlarge each quadrant, print as usual.
And thank you so much!
Do you mind sharing which gpad you have? I want to be sure to get one that’s compatible with sketchbook. Thanks for your great content!
This is great. Could you provide a link to the sketchbook app or tell me who makes it so I get the right app

I have hand tremors, so this is going on my christmas list. Lol
Oh yea that would actually help alot. I think if you're OK holding onto that pen, or finding a comfortable grip for it, it could be great.
Have you seen this tool? The FID'L STIK by Creator's - Burnisher/Jump Ring Crafter/ Stained Glass Tools (?)
I use Procreate and i would actually die if it weren't for the stabilizer and symmetry tools :')
@MariannesStudio love procreate too! And same. If it weren't for that I would have about ZERO smooth lines and ZERO symmetrical shapes. 🤣😂😅
Do you still use this app?
Yes, this is a current vid. 🖤
