Raducanu beating the 43 and 23 in the world back to back is huge for her confidence. She is playing top class tennis .She deserves this success and so do her teammates .
I thought the same thing, when she went down a set against Garcia it wasn’t looking good but she adjusted well and upped her level. I do wonder if maybe when she was having constant injury problems before and then went down a set - she struggled with motivation but now that she’s not having injury problems, she has the motivation mentally to want to come back.. positive progress for Emma 👏🏻
Fantastic post analysis from Anne and Emma. Some proper questions for once, which enabled Emma to demonstrate her incredible tennis IQ. The team spirit is wonderful and I hope this gives up and coming youngsters so much inspiration on how belief, hard work and a strong mental attitude can produce positive results. Both Emma and Katie have had their fair share of injuries. Hopefully all the team will maintain healthy and injury free for the rest of the season. Thank you for playing such wonderful tennis and good luck for 2024.
Testament to the fact that Emma has not lost anything since the U.S. Open in 2021 .She is stronger and has much more experience now.Very nice interview.Thankyou for this .
Missed Katie's matches, but know she can throw down winners! Finally, Emma's back in the game! Mentally and physically! She played like a champ! Well done Team GB! Well done Anna & back up staff! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's a team game so everyone, including those not playing, deserves plaudits. Katie set the tone and gave Emma the view of the finish, but boy did Emma dig in against Diane who played challenging tennis. In the end, Emma and GB were a worthy winners.
You have that back to front, KB did not set the tone and gave EMMA a view of the finish line. KB was beaten (bageled) by Parry, it was EMMA who defeated WTA 23 CG and gave KB a view of the finish line, as luck would have it KB then had a piece of good fortune having to play CB and not CG. Ergo, it was EMMA who 'creamed' the 'frogs' in their own backyard, (with apologies to any and all amphibians who may be feeling left out) !!
@@2smoulderKatie told the press in her interview that Emma’s sweet message the previous night kick started her day and motivated her to get the win for Emma. So really, I think Emma set the tone to inspire Katie
Two fantastic results for Emma. She is definitely nearly back to her best and it is so nice to see that beautiful smile again! 🥰❤️👌🏻 Anne giving proud mum vibes is lush too! 🥰🥰
Bravo Emma. Bravo Team GB. Can't wait for the finals in November. This was the best match I'd seen for some years. Just a good as her US Open final with Fernandez - if not better.
Why did the BBC not give this live coverage on bbc2. All they were showing were repeats of other programmes. Also did not see any trailers for the match. Shame on you bbc
I know it's no consolation now, but it's was on the i player and BBC sport app. If they weren't interested in her in the US final then you see where their interest lies...
And now a month later BBC are removing the recordings off their iplayer service, why is this only available for 4 weeks, they could at least transfer this to youtube!
Emma should be the team captain, she is inspirational to everyone. Even though Katie is uk #1 she thinks Emma is an exceptional player and inspired by Emma. Heather looks at Emma with pride in a team player who is so good. When you factor in Klugman and Xu will come through in the next 3years , GB will have some BJK team.

Emma annihilated Parry in the breaker, it was brutal and emotionless. The rowdy French crowd were completely silenced, great to see.
Glad to see Emma fighting and thriving!
Emma is so kind and leader, not only make herself better but people better.
Fabulous weekend , well done please keep it up
Go Emma & Go Team GB

This was the best match I'd seen for some years. Just a good as her US Open final with Fernandez - if not better.
Is it not so that the US Open final that year was one of the most entertaining ever?
Yes indeed. History was made then and the match was hard-fought like this one; and also lasted for ages.

Complained about this kind of thing before, I did see it on the iplayer. The BBC are daft enough to think the world is all digital. Idiots

F them haters!
Right now they are nowhere to be seen, but they will be back at the first opportunity.
They really do need to 'get a life' !!
No one hates Emma. She is just not all that. The media hype as overstated and overrated her. That all
How come Boulter is not being interviewed too ?
She isn't the Face of British Tennis either in or out of the country.. People turn on to see Emma..
Boulter Who ?
@@stickitupyourasteric Don't get carried away with a few wins. Boulter is GB no.1 and the team couldn't win without her.

EMMA'S WTA 302 ranking is totally false and misleading, which higher ranked players will find out to their detriment.
