Unle Jerry called up Kumu Robert and Kumu Hina stepped in to dance as she often does for mele she loves, and when I saw Kumu Hula Māpuana De Silva step forward (her hālau had danced earlier), I thought she was going to join them, but maybe she decided not to when she saw Kumu Hina dancing, or maybe she just wanted to watch. I know it can be distracting when two dancers do different choreography, but if she had joined them with her hula, that would have been an even more unbelievable moment.

There are many more videos of the music and hula that night, but I donʻt have high-speed Internet right now, and I was asked not to post the hula performances by Hālau Mōhala ʻIlima, so it may be a while before I can share more of Jerry and Kamuela on this Kona Nui Night.
