Jak Johnston It was a good heel character for the era it was in. A guy who acted like a crazed comic book villain? Hell yes. But what really sold the gimmick, was the man under the face paint. Cody Rhodes is the shit. Acting ia amazing and he sold the gimmick. WWE just didn't book it well enough. It was Cody's idea in the first place but WWE shat on it.
It's amazing how Cody inherited very little of his fathers charisma and ability to cut promos. Seriously if you didn't already know he's Dusty's son then there's no way you would've been able to tell
This aged extremely well, Omega did take NJPW to the promise land and now we got the Forbidden Door PPV with AEW and NJPW.
