This song sounds like a sort of “secret” finale to a game, you fighting against what you COULD’VE been but you took the route you did, and you are now faced with your past choices as they all try to kill you.
So a literal “Confronting Yourself” moment?
Also, I have an idea how you’d get here. Basically, you finish the game, it crashes, you start it up, it’s a new game, with new characters, new story, and new gameplay style. So, at first, it could be a heart-wrenching RPG, then an upbeat platformer, ect. This will happen five ish times, before the game crashes for a final time, and when you open it back up, you are your original character. It would be a boss rush against all your past selves, using all of their attacks, and they’d have the items and stats you last left them with, so if you have 50 HP and 10 ATK on one, it’ll come back with 50 HP and 10 attack. Also, if you want to make it a challenge, in the “Extras” menu, there’s Boss Rush! mode, and a setting where you can make it so that the playable character has nothing at all and starts with base stats and base items, and the enemies have the best weapons you can get and maxed stats, called “Hell Mode”

idk lol I just wanted to assign them different paths, with EXE being the worst of the worst as he's the one who actually manages to kill Sonic out of the four at the end of the fight, meaning that he became even stronger than how powerful Sonic is at the end of the game
no,@@bloxxybox2576 ,he doesn't kill him. sonic.exe was being a sore loser,and hated it when he said he was a hardhead,so he tried to kill him,and you can see him dodging with the lines to show it. he wouldve screamed if he died,so thats a instant giveaway that he didn't kill him.
@@flammables_father no actually, if you watch it all the way through, you can see that EXE manages to kill Sonic from afar via puncturing his chest (there's a sound of Sonic getting injured + a faint puncture noise), which is then followed by Sonic screaming in agony (I would know, since the audio file in the FLP is literally named "sonicscream . wav")

This original mix is a real bop, and I love the idea of him in a confrontational standoff with his others.
And the fact .exe has this unique entrance with Sonic's unfair situation with the drop is a banger in itself.
Can you imagine an "alter-ego good future" in the style of prey good future where archie sonic (yes, according to the flp this sonic is the archie sonic) becomes super sonic archie and defeats his evil versions? or the idea of another comment where good versions of sonic also appear (toei/junio, sonic x, boom sonic, AoSTH, prime, etc, etc)

Which is saying something since Metal Sonic in Archie is only good at fighting just Sonic and nothing else until Eggman built the 3.0 model (at which point he became a certified BAMF), Scourge could manhandle Sonic and Shadow put together at the time of his initial evolution, and Fleetway Super Sonic… is a fucking Super form.
For EXE to give Archie Sonic the Mephiles treatment so easily when none of the others provably couldn’t (Metal Sonic getting regularly trashed became a fandom meme for a while, Scourge isn’t so above Sonic that he won’t go down without a total smackdown first, and Sonic survived a thorough beating from his own Super form in Archie canon), the implications are terrifying.
I dom't think thats archie sonic, but even if it was, death nor erasure can stop Archie, if this is REALLY archie, then EXE has something horrible coming for him soon
@@bigthelad5668 I’m kinda figuring its Archie because the bulk of this song takes place on the Cosmic Interstate, a multiversal freeway that connects basically all of the Sonic worlds. Which is an Archie Sonic concept.
Side note, the Archie canon has had crossovers with Sonic Underground and Sonic X during parts of the canon where the Cosmic Interstate was extra prominent.
to be fair, this is an EXE based on Archie Sonic himself, so this take is PRETTY DAMN STRONG

Great concept
The idea of sonic facing previous canon and fanmade versions of himself is a thing that can be done right and this song those such a good job and has that right touch of pitch in tone that makes it work

Thanks for making this really cool FNF song I had a blast making this chart although it was challenging it was worth it. I really like all the characters vocals used for everyone its different and unique IMO🔥
back story for this song and back story for sonic's alter egos
Allow me.
So the first one, metal sonic. Assuming this is the metal sonic from the popular sonic CD theory is a version of sonic who was roboticized from his future. I haven't read much on the theory but it goes in detail and it's pretty close to a canon explanation for metal sonic in the actual games.
The second one, Scourge. Is from the archie sonic comics and basically comes from an alternate universe where sonic is the villain and eggman is the hero. Eventually due to chaos energy he turns green and becomes scourge instead of "evil sonic."
The third one, Fleetway. (One I know more about for once.) is from the fleetway comics, this version of sonic isn't evil unless they're within their super form. Basically the fleetways version of the super form is evil. Fleetway also commonly appears when sonic is extremely stressed and pressured.
The final one, Sonic.exe. Actually has no official relevance and is purely fanon, based on an age old creepy pasta of a hacked sonic game where this sonic has supposedly jumped out of the game and killed someone, as far as I've heard. But basically this version of sonic would actually murder and kill people. Tormenting the souls trapped within the game. In some versions of the creepy pasta, the souls trapped within the game characters are infact the souls of actual people who have touched the rom hack recently.

So what's the reason for this take on him looking the way he does? Also if this is meant to take place in the Archie multiverse why is sonic from the fleetway comic here besides being an evil sonic
The Cosmic Interstate basically connects the entire Sonic multiverse, which has led to the Archie version of Sonic having crossovers with Sonic Underground and Sonic X. Which means Archie Sonic can find any other canonical iteration of Sonic with enough searching and vice versa if said other Sonics ever felt assed to find the Cosmic Interstate themselves.
