Speaking obvious Catholic moral teaching at a Catholic synod is now an act of bravery. While this is shocking, it’s also an exciting opportunity for us all to cling to Christ and His Church in the face of hostility from inside and outside the faith. Lord Jesus, we are Yours. Give us grace and courage and send us forth to do Your holy will!
The problem in this modernist world, is people feel “liberated “ being sexual deviants. Multiple sex partners, masturbation, and pre-marital sex being the most widespread. Satan is really happy now that his lies are being mistaken for truths. Chastity is a gift from God and preserves ones dignity. God bless us and the whole world!
Finally, we have a person with true understanding with regards to LGTB persons and church teachings. Archbishop Zev Stanavich from Ria elequently points out that true love cannot be separated from the truth, saying we must be faithful to the holy scriptures. He said he would bless a homosexual person who is striving to live in a chaste manner. Similarly, Archbishop Stanavich says he would bless a homosexual couple only if they are striving to live in a chaste relationship. Under no circumstance, he says, would he bless a homosexual couple if they intended to live in a relationship as in a marriage between a man and a woman. It is miraculous that such insight has made it past the mire of confusion so prevalent at the Synod on Synodality.
Ok! What baffles me is how are the Church’s pastors going to determine if these couples are living chaste lives? Leave it to honesty? How is the Church going to deal with the adoption of children by these same sex couples that they are blessing! They may not be practicing sodomy - debatable - but they are still of the same sex “keeping house” as it were! Interesting to say the least!

Objectively immoral and there is no way these unions can be blessed even if they claim to be chaste. There is no such thing as a "homosexual" person / couple. I have a real problem with what the Bishop said about blessings. Two men / women come to him wanting a blessing and intending to live chase, saying they are a couple, he would bless them. Someone please tell me why he would do that.
Agree; we all are blessed by the priest at the end of Mass. Also the sacraments are available to us to give us God's grace. I have heard the argument 'even animals are blessed ' but animals cannot receive the sacraments and are not human who can be damned.
That's an awfully good question. And why is it always the SAME inappropriate questions that are being entertained? If they insist on being wrong, couldn't they occasionally come up with something ELSE to be wrong about? It's really as if some people are OBSESSED with anything having to do with queers, women priests, etc...

Fear, anger, romantic love...all these are normal things that have their place...But today's liberals are evil and wrong in ways that they almost seem to be MAKING UP as they go along!!! Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition has spoken and settled all these claims at the time of the Apostles. All this is a disgrace and a distraction from the Church’s Great Commission.

As a true Roman Catholic faithful, we cannot expect our Holy Orders people to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ. I have experienced some Holy Orders people that violates the Divine Will of our Lord Jesus Christ. We can only pray for them to our Lord God the Father for their path of life. If they do not change just like the Sanhedrin people, there is nothing I can do for them. This is want they want, ok?
It fills me with awe at how firmly in God's hands is His Church. When this synod began it looked to me as though all hell was attacking the Church with everything it's got. With the top guys sympathetic to the same sex union advocates and the synod being cleverly designed to give the modernists the advantage. But clearly the Lord works in the hearts and minds of all men and I'm confident that whatever happens Jesus will keep His word. The gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.
