- Who does not know and remember the Zen? An epic car of epic proportions and a youth icon of its days. Then in 2006, Maruti decided to take a U-Turn and make the Zen a generic car. The Estilo is a typical Maruti with proven reliability, practicality and zero-hassle ownership. But, in the end...It is just not the ZEN!

We had maruti Zen estilo and I can say for sure that it's a perfect hatchback for that time
I'm a proud owner of the "Zen estilo generation 1 model " It's been 16 years the car still runs smooth as butter no a single noise in the engine.. And no engine issues till now. I love my Zen very much in the span of 16 years all i had to do was change the front suspension of the car which I did a year ago.... I love my maruti suzuki Zen estilo i wouldn't sell my car for any amount of money, that car is like a family member for me ❤

Zen was marketed as world card and it truly was. Low center of gravity and quality engineering were plus points. Maruti still should come up with same car.

Zen estilo 2010 VXI.....best feature car of that time......Power steering, all 4 power windows, electronically adjustable ORVM, rear wiper defogger and much more

My father bought Zen Estilo in 2006 as it was launched! I loved it and used to zoom it in my teenages! In 2019 we sold it. I still regret selling it off. :'( it was perfect, super and spacious. I wanted to make it convertible but my father did not allow me to do anything
Zen sales were adversely effecting it's own other hatchback sales. They probably wanted to promote wagon R and take on santro. Their hatch backs with sub 1000 cc never took off, it was much much later wagon R sales took off.

Even though it was 2nd hand and didn't have power steering, handling was really easy.
It was probably the best car for the city traffic, even much better than Wagon R or Santro.

We bought 2nd hand ZEN a uear ago. It was 2002 model. But wasn't even 50,000 Km. We got it for just 35000. Petrol car. We got CNG kit fixed in it. So we got car+ cng+ other needs in less then 60k. I'm gonna learn driving with that car
Fact :- Suzuki MR Wagon was launched in japan back in 2001 which later known as zen estilo in India when maruti suzuki launched this car back in 2006
And that year Suzuki launched their second generation of this car in japan
