This is a modified version I made for this of the bad Blu-Ray release so it looks like the theatrical version. The best way to watch this movie is with the 4K-Blu-ray with a good 4K TV that supports Dolby Vision. Or just a very bright tv that has alot of settings. Some movies still have really poor releases to this day like Terminator 2 and sadly this movie doesnt get the treatment it deserves. If you have any of the equipment I mentioned I would give this movie another watch with that and see if your opinion changes cause of it. Or just use the blu-ray disc you own and rip the file like I did to on your computer and edit it from there. Do as you please. Hope you enjoy the video.
I agree with you. While the 4k Blu Ray is an improvement over the original Blu Ray, its still not the massive upgrade alot of us wanted in terms of its brightness. But at least you can see the night scenes better in the 4K Blu Ray then you could in the original Blu Ray.
Simply epic. The sound design, the build up, Godzilla's epic introduction at the airport, the charge up of his atomic breath and the kiss of death finisher on the female MUTO, everything. Pure magnificence. Great reactions from fans!
Man.. this is almost what it was like when I went to see it in theater on opening night. That first full glimpse at the airport.. the place went nuts! I still get goosebumps thinking about it!
Fantastic reactions! I like this entry too and the only thing that I would change is the cut away at Godzilla's first reveal and show the fight a bit. Hopefully future entries will return to the tone of 2014 and drop the bad comedy lines etc.
If they didn’t cut away, the build up really wouldn’t be as effective. If we see the fights earlier in the movie, the final one wouldn’t matter as much

Godzilla 2014 was the first Godzilla film I ever saw in theaters and holy shit what an experience now I know how everyone else felt when they were seeing the G-Man on the big screen

Plus, I watched breaking bad, and let me tell you, Bryan Cranston is a fucking legend. Hes good in this movie too, but his character in breaking bad is better than any of the godzilla movie’s acting combined lmao

Kotm was like the Heisei Era sort of in tone, and Godzilla VS Kong was very Showa Era in tone
