I'm a horse lover, but I got really tired of the repetitive collage of horselover vignettes and collage of lakeview vignettes interrupting the narrative; they were not even plausible activities that could all have fit into the current place in the narrative. The entire plot narrative would fit into about a half an hour, so I guess they felt the need to fluff it out with random footage that doesn't really relate to the story.
I was about to say the same thing it was extremely boring the horse even looked bored! He didn’t get a chance to go into that beautiful countryside just walking around in a muddy paddock….this film could’ve been so much better with a little more thought..

This almost felt like a home movie, where someone with a new video camera took lots of footage of picturesque things as they learned, and wanted to make use of the footage, so they made up a lame plot to weave into their collection of footage to try to make a story out of it, but it fails miserably, because there was no story in mind as they took all that random pretty footage, and they put all the random footage in instead of only using images that fit with and support the story. Much more like a student or amateur effort than a professional director. It feels disrespectful of their viewers time.
