@@Dreamediaav A&B has been taking care of me since the 90's so I like sticking with them but if I'm ever looking for something they don't carry, I'll certainly check in with you guys!
You will take the xlr connection out to your subwoofer amplifier and then assign that channel for subwoofer in the calibration settings for audessy or dirac live. Hope that helps! Have a great weekend!
Like the rest of my Marantz equipment wait a few year and buy it not working on eBay for a few hundred dollars and fix it, my av7005 was 150.00 never mind it took a year to find a power supply. At 14,000 for that pair new will never have my name on it. Heck get a used bmw e90 lol.
Nice overview. The 8805 was the flagship before the AV 10, I have the 8805 great for music but found it lacking for movies, I wasn’t game spending 12.5 k for the av 10 thought it would sound the same as the 8805. I went with the Anthem flagship pre/ pro what a difference, the movies sound was at a different level.
First, I want to say I've been subscribed since 2019 (at least I think 2019, maybe 2018), great channel. I do miss the installs, but still great channel. I have a quick question. I have a Denon 6700 in my theater (thinking of going Marantz Cinema 40) and I have a Marantz NR 1200. I have a 400 disc changer connect to my Denon. Will Heos, allow me to listen to music from my disc changer connected to the Denon through my Marantz in the living room? Thanks
We appreciate your support! We will bring back some install videos for you here soon. We have the Man Cave Makeover series about to premier in a couple weeks. Yes you can select the disc changer in the other room. Any source in fact. Just start playing it on the disc changer and group that room together with the other room you want to add in. Simple! Hope that helps. Have a great week!
Man those components stacked up together truly look like AV carbon steel sculptures. They are showroom worthy pieces to impress any High end audiophiles
It's a shame for such a premium on this and the A1H that component video has been phased out. I can't be the only one who still has a use for it, and doesn't want an HDMI adapter of dubious quality. I guess I'll ride and die with the X8500 for the foreseeable future.
Digital technology implemented in top-of-the-line AV processors (of different mass producers like top 3 in the world - Denon, Marantz, Yamaha) has to be like in top-of-the-line smartphone producers ( like Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, Honor). Because it will become obsolete in just a few years. In 2023, I don't want to buy ooold, obsolete technology at an unjustified cost! Only the newest and best-performing components has to be used. Unfortunately, this is not the case... In regarding only to the audio side of the Marantz AV10... My level of expectations at 7000 USD (or even more) is that I need one AV unit to sound like a flagship stereo, on ALL channels... BTW... Be honest... who is using 15 channels configuration in a living room? Or kilometers of wires for zone 2 or zone 3 connections in which the end result is to play same music, instead of separate very good quality audio components in those rooms? We are not talking about hearing the same music in corridors or on an elevator of a hotel... Sabre DAC ES 9018 used inside AV10? Why not at least ESS 9039Pro or AKM4191EQ? Or a dedicated very low noise stereo DAC in dual differential mode per each channel? As a top-of-the-line product in 2023, it should have! And where is HDCD decoding? Audiophile CD format is not dead, SACD is not dead, Dolby Digital is not dead... Even vinyl is not dead, and in 2023 we still not having a decent phono preamplifier for both MM and MC cartridges in a top-of-the-line AV processor... In the audiophile community, we are still spinning HDCD CDs, SACD discs, DVD Audio discs - and for HDCD, we need that decoder. Also...we are in 2023, right? ...where is streaming and decoding native DSD1024 audio files? I want to see ultra low noise separate power supplies inside of a top of the line AV processor... This is the level of quality that I expect from a Marantz or Denon AV processor flagship, in 2023. RCA connectors are made from gold-plated brass? This is NOT desirable, because of brass low conductivity. It should be made at least from silver or gold-plated OFC copper (again... I'm modest...I'm not mentioning pure silver-made connectors...). I want to see OCC pure copper or OCC pure silver wires used in inside cabling! Talking further...what OP-AMP are used inside? No info here... Also, no info regarding SINAD with EQ in flat mode at max output volume. I want an upscaler even from DVD definition, to 4k and 8k resolution! Also, who is really using HEOS?? Especially in this high-end area... McIntosh is having same marketing policy... No detailed info in regarding inside components used, and no tech info regarding audio performance in their top-of-the-line AV processor... Only high prices! With all due respect for these companies, this is not acceptable.
This is great for a BIG dedicated home theater but for the average home that want to turn a small family room into a home theater this is too powerful. What do you have in 5.2.4 with 100 amps per Channel ?…..I think this is what most people are looking for. There are 140 million homes in USA and 1.4 Million homes built each year. Thats allot of Family rooms. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Excellent comment and feedback. Marantz and Denon make some great budget AVR's that would be a great fit for those situations. Denon 3800 at around $1500 would be one I would strongly consider for your home entertainment needs.
What brand are those banana plugs you were talking about?
The camera movement is something else. I've managed a whole 10 seconds of watching this.
I know this is an old video but I’m seriously considering this combo right now
Just picked up an AV10 today at A&B TV in Austin TX.
Congrats! Next time keep in mind that we ship to Austin and have a low price guarantee with free shipping! 😁 thanks for watching!

wow, just wow 👍🏻
😍
any trade ins for the 8805??
We don’t offer trade ins. The 8805 is a great unit!
Can you please provide more information about amplifier vs avr
Absolutely! Stay tuned for tomorrows video. We are putting that video out on the denon A1H Vs Marantz AV10/AMP10
great information well presented. maybe he could develop his own equipment someday also.
Appreciate that Nigel! We will keep to coming for you. 😁
really nice setup ...
14k to go all in? Nuts!!!
It’s an investment for sure!
To get a little crazy you have to be willing to pay the admission fee😅😂
