Lewes have been celebrating the Guy Fawkes Gunpowder Plot Failure since November Fifth 1605 and Remembering those that have died for their beliefs since 1555, including those that have died in the name of the Crown in Wars since, The Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations is simply a reminder, that we owe our freedom to those that have died for our future and freedom of thought, speech and liberty.
