- Premiere Elements 2018 is a great video editing platform for all kinds of videos. Whether you have vacation footage to edit, or clips from a special event like a graduation, or maybe you have a goal, like me, of creating a yearly recap video of all the fun stuff you did as a family over the course of a year. All of these ideas would make a great family video, so in this post, I'm back with another Premiere Elements 2018 tutorial!

When you were downloading the videos all at once, you stated command A. What exactly is that? Additionally, do you have a video where you can remove unwanted words from a previous video and add you own?
When I try to repeat your Freeze Frame title I get a solid background instead of transparent.
I have premiere elements 2018 and it's acting weird. As soon as I add color vibrance or do ANYTHING to the video, it starts to lag and get super choppy. Any advice as to how to fix this ?

I am trying to edit a video in premiere elements 2019 and I can't here the sound and my video is not playing smoothly. Can you tell me what I can do to fix those issues?
Make sure you have the right audio hardware setting so you can hear it. Sometimes a slower computer causes videos to not play smoothly.
@@meredithmarsh Would you be able to advise on what i can do to fix the problem? how do i know if my computer is slow. where do i look to get that information?

Great video again! Have you trained your girls on how to edit? Are you going to point them to this software or the more advanced? My son has an interest in moving up from iMovie on his phone.
My 11 year old can use iMovie on the iPad, but haven't gotten her on the computer for editing yet.

Thanks for the video. Would you know if premiere elements 2018 allows video editing in portrait position (vertical)? Like 1080x1920
I don’t think so but I could be wrong.
Can you merge two separate camera angles together so that the audio matches up using this software...there's probably a more professional term for that but I hope I phrased it well enough...
I thought this was a good idea. I use Premiere Elements 13 and I never think of using the guides. I would like to see the different kinds of titles you could make
Hello Meredith, thank you so much for all the information that you are sharing with us. I was just looking at your first three vidio's on VSDC and it is helping out greatly. This is a shot in the dark that you may be able to answer due to your vast knowledge of assorted editor programs. I purchased Premier Elements 2019 for projects at my church. I have contacted Adobe on a few occasions and even had someone trying to figure out what was going on. The problem occures after having inserted a MP4 video on the time line. Keep in mind nothing has been done other then adding the media, when you press "Play" the video zoom into the top left had corner of the screen. When you press "Pause" the video becomes normal, you see the video as taken. I really like Premier but it seems it just does not handle MP4 files properly. Have you had any experience with what I have just described? Thank you for any comments. Best regards, Guy

Went to download the 30-day trial, but it says the minimum processor speed under system requirements is 2 GHz, and my laptop is only 1.7 GHz. Don't know if that's a showstopper, but my laptop is where I'd definitely want to do my editing, and no new laptop is in the offing anytime soon...
I am new to editing!! Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I stayed up all night trying to figure out Premier Elements 2019 for my first video using this software. I have searched the TH-cam community for help with Premier Elements and you are by far the best for me! The men are so quick and not very thorough. Thank you so much. I love my video so far (Mom's 90th birthday party), but I still can't figure out how to cut the music in different segments. Hopefully you have covered this already. Thank you so much!!!
