This is from the era when they had two vocalists, one singing and one screaming. IIRC the screamer ended up quitting because it kept wrecking his throat (big shock).
yeah well it´s his own fault, probably doing it wrong if done right, screaming or shouting or growling doesn´t hurt your voice with practice and the right technique it´s as harmless as normal singing it´s just a muscle you have to train if done wrong you´re getting serious problems
