Of the three masculine perfumes that dominated the 90s (L’eau D’Issey, Aqua Di Gio and Le Male), L’eau D’Issey is the one that has maintained pride of place on my dresser. Its effortless sophistication remains timeless. I also appreciate the architecture of the bottle. A totem to the genius of Issey Miyake that I will never be without.
Out of those three, that's the one I'd pick as well.

Its my first time to wear this perfume and I can say, the performance is top notch. To me though the notes are complex, I wonder how those combinations turn into a light to musky kind of fragrance that you'll love once it dries down upto the time it's about to evaporate. It lasts really long. It's really worth the money

This is a lovely perfume and yes very nostalgic but still works to this day...the issey I've been wearing lately is "Noir Ambre" and is a beautiful fragrance..some of the issey miyake darker perfumes they have released over he past few years are really good..

They where revolutionary at the time. I still remember the first time I smelled it after it came out. Wore it for years, so many compliments. Very fresh morning, but more classy then Ck1.
Bold but distant and has a detached vibe to it, it’s why it’s not Offensive yet has a strong presence

I’m sure I had that perfume in college, or sometime in my 20’s (a long time ago). I then picked up some sort of sport version, maybe in my late 30’s or so. I might have bought it in a airport. It definitely was a bit different because it had a red silicone cover that you could put replacement, round bottles in. It was to protect the perfume bottle while in your gym bag. Not one of my most memorable past purchases.
Oh dear! I expect we all bought at least one bottle of it at some stage.

My boyfriend's mom got him L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme for his birthday one year, but he didn't like it. I thought I'd try it and I fell in love with it! It has since become one of my favorites. I especially like to use it in hot weather, it's a perfect unisex in my opinion.
Yes, I would say it would extremely well as a unisex scent.

@@Persolaise When I tried if the sprayer 10 years ago I was impressed but when I sprayed it on my skin it smelled different and it started to develop a weird sharp metallic note that bothered my nose, I have the same experience with Armani's Acqua Di Gio. So in L’Eau Intense there's no metallic note and I like it but it's a different scent I also like Sport and Fraiche which coincidentally to my nose smells more like a fresh version of Intense one rather than a flanker of the original. So I'm still hoping for a new and improved version for me, the one that does not have that metallic note which probably is not metallic but my nose detect it as such
is rechargeable?
