Her heavenly voice carried the weight of sadness, yet compelled the Lord to heal her soul and bring her home.
I am a carpenter. Every time I hear this good song, I start dancing. 😊😎
My favorite from the late, great Karen! Masterful!
That voice -- is a pure joy to listen to.
Beautiful audio. And that guitar!!! 🎸
Another splendid carpenters upload 🥰👍
Great sound
For me the best instrument to listen to on vinyl are the drums. They sound so organic. Thanks again Phil. You do sterling work mate.
Чарующий голос Карен Карпентер. Так грустно, что ее так рано не стало
THANKS..
ETERNAL 70"s
wow ... guitar solo is num jo a
Phil..i quickly searched about Carpenters Gold on vinyl
seems only Discogs has cassette and CD
I still cant get my head around how a 4 channel original sound was put on a 2 channel (stereo sound format)..also Aretha Franklin and Perry Como original quad sound likewise on CD
But with headphones...straight away the very wide broad Quad sound is obvious.
Some people do upload original quad vinyl using encoded restored amps and receivers I think from the actual 70s..
but somehow again ..they get it to sound on TH-cam like very broad stereo
I think most of the Quad CD reissues are encoded 5.1 to be played on modern surround sound
equipment..I know they have done that with Ray Conniff quad CDS
wow Phil...this audio comes out really nice
I am a bit obsessed though on hearing the Quadraphonic version of this song and those recorded up to 1975...because the quad versions give an additional amazing spacial sound to her voice ..i think the quad version of this was put on Carpenters gold cd
Did they ever release a vinyl version of the Carpenters Gold issue I wonder?
I'm not sure Robert - I'll have to see if I can find some of the quad versions for myself!
@@AudioPhil1 the only problem Phil..the quad setups are such a hard thing to do properly i think cos they need a different stylus plus the right equipment to convert the quad encoding..
vinyl is the only music media worth listening to
Wise words!
Yes. Quality vinyl, good reproduction, etc...make it so much better than 'mostly' digital media for me. This coming from a guy whose childhood music often came via tiny six transistor AM radios, television speakers, and some decent console players, but I loved the music just as much then as now. We are so blessed to have TH-cam people like AudioPhil who know how to best reproduce vinyl sounds. I can even tell slight differences in cartridges it seems, especially when he uses the Hana. Quality headphones makes a difference, even via TH-cam.
@@goinxnginx I still listen to am radio every day i prefer it to digital radio i have a digital radio but never use it let's keep analogue radio I dont care what they say.
