- Many were not all that impressed with the previous video about AC´s AI because it displayed no racing at all. To be honest, that was quite normal given the track I used, in fact it would have been absurd if I was side by side often with other cars in that layout.
Today I upload some short clips of the many 8 lap races I tried in a handful of GP tracks, including the best fights I got out of the AI.
It sure isn´t perfect, and if they ever try to convince you it´s subjected to the same physics as the player, I encourage you to punch that guy in the face. But it can be entertaining, that´s for sure.

If the Ai was programmed to be like this in every if not majority of cars but on every track in the game, then that would be fantastic.
Going side by side next to an Ai on the final corner of the Nurburgring GP layout they completely back off on the corner exit for example.
+DEMON Or No Car / ABRAMS Or No Tank yep, there are still many combos with "that corner". I was passing one car per lap on Silverstone on the exit of Copse, which makes no sense.
It is too bad A1/RedBull Ring is a DLC track I do not have for now, because I absolutely love it.
It was very entertaining to watch btw. The AI in the grass made me laugh for a while!
+Apex Hit IKR, that one at Mugello reminded me when Kunos said they were on the same physics than the player.
Dyr_gl PSN they are on the same physics, it's the grip multiplyer for AI that's the issue. give the AI a knock and watch how they grip.
+marconico then they're not. Watch their onboards and you'll see them do impossible things for the player.
this will be great when custom championships arrive.

With this kind of cars and high difficulty levels PCARS is a total trainwreck. The AI are just complete lunatics.
But it´s not always like that, it´s OK to have a quick race with other classes of slower cars.
You should do a pCars video to show the difference, this is very important in a racing game!
whats the point is anybody playing pcars still? Personally i find the Ai in AC awful as well, pcars was useless with open wheel & high setting but i find AC worse overall because i set pcars ai at 85 & never use open wheel & it could be usable i also think pc version was a different game. R3E ai is much better than either although at the moment a bit aggressive.
Well I guess pCars is the system's main competitor and they're currently pushing the sequel's promotion - AI is at the heart of a racing game, it's something people will want to know how well(or not) it works and how it should improve
Late To The Party Well I guess so although I think you would be mad to buy pcars with 2 on the way. unless you are after a bargain. pcars 2 ai is supposed to be greatly improved but by the time that's released maybe ac ai will be improved a great deal.
Good morning, a while back after i watched all your setup videos for Project cars, it was super helpful, but i find it doesnt translate well to assetto corsa, i think in assetto corsa there are few extra settings that wasnt avalible and also terminology and the slider are bit different as well. wondering if you can do a video to compare the two and the extra bits :P
I don´t have the energy at the moment to start something like that. The summer is coming and I´m taking a bit of a break. If there´s anything I can help with, ask and I´ll try my best :-)

Worst ai for me is forza motorsport 6 in 3rd person view .
weposXR8 try to play unbeatable with the console offline, gets really good.

Maybe I get carried away because I already know what the text will say so I read it faster XD. Will do next time. About rFactor, I would love to play it, but I'm stuck in the wrong gaming platform
I understand, Don't buy so many "games" then you'll have money to buy a $1000.00 laptop, that's what I use 😀. Consoles can burn a hole in your pocket.
