Awesome! So glad to see you have a nice product, I was worried for a second there! (JK/LOL!!) I really appreciate how you divided the firing time and observed the intermediate states. I'm continuing work on a YInMn project, where I made the oxides in the chemistry facility and the pigment from the oxides in the art facility at my previous school LTCC, and I've been recently (currently, in fact!) doing analytical work on some of those samples as a special project in an upper div analytical chemistry course. Cheers, excellent video, and excellent channel overall for what it's worth!
Very nice, you beat me to it! I'm going to try making some later this week... I bought 10g of each oxide. I got the impression you want it to be half yttrium oxide and the rest a combination on the other two depending on colour you're going for? I'll be using a small electric melting furnace. It only goes up to 1150°c but I'm hoping it'll still work. Looks like it's not too difficult to get a result

I've been making it for about 3 years now, and you'll get a less grey, more vibrant blue by heating at 1200°C for longer times.
The moles on the table 😅😊
I've been waiting for this video, surprised it was that simple but obviously going to need the more pure chemicals to do it
I wasnt expecting the second one to work either, but apperently its not that difficult, as long as its not extremely impure like my first attempt
Great work!
Nice

Thank you,
best luck for your attempt, im sure it will work.
So he didnt invent anything
