There are not a lot of benificial blockers.... They should just make each have an AI that only uses the skill if there are buffs currently on a unit somewhere.. otherwise they use the other 2 skills...

Thats why the Hp% Runes and Loren on double Shield. It is pretty consistent, if not one of the most consistent teams with the only fail being Loren missing Def break on the Boss.
For people who don't have Chiwu/Argen/Dark Vamp Lord, another good unit to bring along in this team is actually Verde. He gives you a speed lead and works well with team-up. He also helps cycle turns faster just in case the beneficial effect block from your witch gets resisted. With Raoq + Verde she gets the skill back really fast.
While i do hope they introduce more units with beneficial effect block to help this dungeon, i think simply adding smart ai similar to witches and inu's would help more. Com2us would also NEED to add a list of monster who got said buff, and not just put "Smarter AI. Some units will not strip if enemy has no beneficial effect." The reason why some monster should NOT get smarter ai, is because monsters like Chiwu, with strip on 2 skills, won't use their 2 said skills on trash waves. This might be a problem to people who depend on him to despair proc for safer runs. Any thoughts on this?
just figured it out! fire string master was made for Punisher Crypt, water string master was made for Steel Fortress. I'm less sure about water string master but her s3 kinda break the boss stage. BUT, fire string master was for sure made for Punisher Crypt with her s2 and s3!!
Lorens ai probably derps for places like dragons because com2us gave her attack type instead of support type, and her strip does more damage so she uses it whenever she can instead of on buffed enemies

I'm F2P. My Steel Fortress B10 face team is ok but a little flakey: Fran, Spectra 2A, Loren, Zinc and Mantura. I have a set of shield runes in there somewhere, which maybe helps our sustain if/when Zinc derps at the boss. Mantura and Zinc still have under 200 speed, and I think it'll be more reliable if I can get them above 200. It seems a mostly solid enough team to grind B9 though. I don't have a Silia. My GB12 team is pretty consistent, 1.30-2min: Lushen, Kro 2A, Fran, Water Homunculus (Purify, Icy Magic Bullet Chain, Ice Mist) and Shannon - who is only 5* and not 2A yet. Again there's a set of shield in there, helps prevent the boss nuking someone. The team is a little short on def breaks, but once the WH stacks a load of DOTs on the boss, Kro doesn't seem to care too much! :D My Dragons B12 and Necro B12 teams are still quite flakey though.
I run Erigar + Brig and find it reliable enough for me. I run it with Loren Raoq and Kro, gives me around 1 min average, 45 seconds if it runs perfectly clean. Brig has pretty good AI since his buff block is on s3 and it's one turn faster than zinc at 3 turns instead of 4. Erigar is backup buff block, but also brings the buffs, leader skill, and some damage. I wish more people would give brig a try, though newer players missed his 2 HoH appearances.
Silia is good for manual speed clears since her ai is totally shit. I got 39 sec on lushen fran loren kro silia but if I did speed tuning I could probably get sub 30 seconds. Although it's 85% clear since its resistance check...
I awakened her and I use her from the 1st week of game for Dragon and Giant. Gina awakened is very useful for waves if you don't have a raoq that if you do them yourself and if u have shitty spd runes. Set: -Violent Energy spd hp hp for everything -Violent/swift nemesis spd hp hp if u want play with her in rta like a hator (with succubus it's good) -energy energy energy hp hp hp if u want build her for tank light thing (punisher too if u haven't nothing else)
@Sean B people forgot about Brig - light pirate captain, he's AI is insane and you will have Att/Def break +Buff block all in 1 skill. I'm autoing 1:37 with him he's amazing

I might end up giving her a try because my frustration with these units with block ben effect is enormous; ALL OF THEIR AI ARE TRASH and thats the only thing hard about this dungeon is overcoming trash ai. but i have noticed a few things about them such as vamp lord does not want to use skill 2 if the enemy already has beneficial effects he will usually use skill 3 or one if 3 is on CD so its better to have him go first in a team; the wind mystic witch has a different problem from what i can tell her ai values skill 2 higher when an enemy has ben effects bc he skill bc 100% effective when enemy has beneficial effects even though her skill 3 is a freaking strip block; pungbeck seems to have a problem using his skill 3 on waves (i honestly didnt expect that to be a problem) but seems to try and strip block more consistently than other units, have not tried chiwu in this dg. (edit ive swapped to a 3 block team vamp lord wind witch pungbeck jean and loren im decently consistent around 1:10-120 but i still see fails do to the ai or missing the block if anyone has some ideas or info about the accuracy reqs id appreciate it i notice the vamp lord gets it most of the time around 40% accuracy; all have full skill ups except pungbeck im still working on him) I will say this a unit i havent seen anyone using who is amazing in this dg (and one of seans favs ) is the MF fire hat boi Jean he is an absolute nuke in this dungeon and can by pass the shields on the boss with his second skill in case the block wears off and is surprisingly resilient in the dungeon 10/10 for fire hat boi in steel fortress from me
If you play an unawakened monster to be optimised out it means that there is a problem with the game's AI, Com2us must fix it. I prefer use a Silia for skill 3 . She merited a 6* for the role .

So annoying using both dark vamp and pungbaek when pungbaek uses his s3 on the last hit of wave 2 and then both pungbaek/dark vamp use s2 on the last monster of wave 3. every time.
Silia (Wind Mystic Witch) seems to be better option, she has that debuff in the 3rd skill, 100% chance to apply when max skilled and she also has AOE def break and continuous damage.

I have Rahul! First time ever I use a Beast Monk in dungeons. 😂 My team is absolute terror for f2p (pun not intended, I'm a f2p player), I use Perna (L), Laika, Rahul, Loren and Velajuel, it takes me 1:30 but it's kinda safe unless Rahul use third skill against the last enemy just before the boss.
I love the idea of having 2 or even 3 blockers in this dungeon, you cant really fail if you have block. I'll try this, im using Zinc with mediocre results (even tho my Zinc is 5*, skill 3 not maxed and im using a slow Loren since my fast one is faster than my whole team). I dont like having both Zinc and the Witch in, i'll 5° max skill her and try.

I have that dark mystic witch awakened she still prioritze toad poison even if she has skill 3. I have her on violent just to make sure if ai mess up. Spd hp acc. You can just try verde fran loren kro and gina. Gina just needs to land block beneficial effects once then verde and loren will lockdown the boss and kro will nuke. That can be your spd team.
I have already rush build a Zinc (before watching this Dark Witch) and spent a lot manas to upgrade the runes, end up doesn't works well too. Sadly, even B9 isn't consistent on AI applying the buff block. Feel so wasted man...
Why does it have to be unawakened? Also when leveling her up she used toad magic constantly while things didnt have buffs so is the AI not like this anymore?
Replace chiwu with zinc and fran with kro, I run that team. Approx 1:10 consistent (could be faster, but then again, my runes.....) Turn order Zinc(triple will) -> Mystic witch (vio) -> loren-> raoq -> Kro Mystic witch should move right after zinc as if zinc doesnt do skill3 or gets resisted, the boss will get bufss which will trigger the witch's skill 2. Then loren raoq and kro makes the boss regret to be born
sadly enough i had the same idea, built her, 6* her and then in a moment of brainflatulence I also awakened her.... will use her for 4* special league as hathor replacement in cleave teams but that s3 kinda screwed her ai and now i wasted tons of witches and material and a +250 speed violent set on here which i am too lazy to take off again, also because i dont really have any other great options (eirgar only s3 maxed and not a single other skillup and i have no leftover vamps and i refuse to "waste" devilmons on him). so... well played me
i had an idea for a long time ago,that i cant do cause i dont have gina... use Lushen(L),gina (unawakened),loren,pang,kro please if have chance make that team with that orden...lushen need to clean 1 and 3
It's solid. With lushen clearing 1 and 3 you get fast clears. I been running lushen fran loren silia (wind mystic because I don't have dark) and kro and my best time was 39 sec.
I use Eirgar Zinc Fran Elsharion Loren cause it's just super consistent. Elsharion and Eirgar are on spd ATK CD. my runes aren't great. I get 2 mins consistently. I bet people with better runes would get 130.
+125 speed violent poggers! (I know its not too hard to get but it would be using my 4th or so best vio set pepehands --- Side note: I use wind mystic witch instead)
this is kinda like the verdehile thing... c2u, when awakening or skilling up (as the case was for verde) a monster makes them worse, there is a problem.... fix ai for the few few few effect blockers we have
I'm trying to fuse wind vampire... It's the only time I've wished to summon him or wind lizard (the last one to fuse wind vamp). It's nearly impossible (at least for me) to clear this dungeon with Eirgar's stupid AI -_-
I think we just have to be patient, they will do somethin about AI and give more anti buffs, there is too little units to do the job, too little choices
why no one makes buff blocker go first? just buff block on turn one and prevent boss of getting buffs in first place, not try strip block on last turn it makes run slower
because she only uses her Buff block once the target actually HAS a buff, unlike chiwu. Her 2nd skill is a strip and then a buff block and thus her AI only makes her use that skill once the target actually has one or more buffs

I was running this team yesterday and the witch was dying sometimes. Then my dumbass awakened the only one I had and now her AI is messed up.

Fast forward to 2022. 2A Gina will save her S2 until the boss has buffs. One of the only times where Com2uS actually fixed the AI.

I'll try this, im using Zinc with mediocre results (even tho my Zinc is 5*, skill 3 not maxed and im using a slow Loren since my fast one is faster than my whole team).
I dont like having both Zinc and the Witch in, i'll 5° max skill her and try.
I ran 3 blocker, seeing they all refuse to use the skill that matter was heart wrenching..
@@SeanBGames Welp, as far as i understand the whole dungeon is determined by you landing the Block effect, so i dont think there can be too much beneficial block for this xD
They should add a 2a that does a ton of dots...
rather than block debuffs
Sean have you tried out silia wind mystic witch yet? It has strip block beneficial in the same skill
One of the units you get from challenges has block on skill1
I tested her againdst Zink. shes not as good. zink has 2 turns buffblock and aoe def break.

I have that dark mystic witch awakened she still prioritze toad poison even if she has skill 3. I have her on violent just to make sure if ai mess up. Spd hp acc. You can just try verde fran loren kro and gina. Gina just needs to land block beneficial effects once then verde and loren will lockdown the boss and kro will nuke. That can be your spd team.
I have already rush build a Zinc (before watching this Dark Witch) and spent a lot manas to upgrade the runes, end up doesn't works well too. Sadly, even B9 isn't consistent on AI applying the buff block. Feel so wasted man...
Why does it have to be unawakened? Also when leveling her up she used toad magic constantly while things didnt have buffs so is the AI not like this anymore?
Replace chiwu with zinc and fran with kro, I run that team. Approx 1:10 consistent (could be faster, but then again, my runes.....)
Turn order
Zinc(triple will) -> Mystic witch (vio) -> loren-> raoq -> Kro
Mystic witch should move right after zinc as if zinc doesnt do skill3 or gets resisted, the boss will get bufss which will trigger the witch's skill 2. Then loren raoq and kro makes the boss regret to be born

sadly enough i had the same idea, built her, 6* her and then in a moment of brainflatulence I also awakened her....
will use her for 4* special league as hathor replacement in cleave teams but that s3 kinda screwed her ai and now i wasted tons of witches and material and a +250 speed violent set on here which i am too lazy to take off again, also because i dont really have any other great options (eirgar only s3 maxed and not a single other skillup and i have no leftover vamps and i refuse to "waste" devilmons on him). so... well played me

It's solid. With lushen clearing 1 and 3 you get fast clears. I been running lushen fran loren silia (wind mystic because I don't have dark) and kro and my best time was 39 sec.

One of my guildies got I think 19 sec run, optimization for this dungeon is being made
I use Eirgar Zinc Fran Elsharion Loren cause it's just super consistent. Elsharion and Eirgar are on spd ATK CD. my runes aren't great. I get 2 mins consistently. I bet people with better runes would get 130.
+125 speed violent poggers! (I know its not too hard to get but it would be using my 4th or so best vio set pepehands --- Side note: I use wind mystic witch instead)

this is kinda like the verdehile thing... c2u, when awakening or skilling up (as the case was for verde) a monster makes them worse, there is a problem.... fix ai for the few few few effect blockers we have

It won’t matter if they introduce new units with beneficial block if they never use it. These dumb AI is a huge set back
I'm trying to fuse wind vampire... It's the only time I've wished to summon him or wind lizard (the last one to fuse wind vamp). It's nearly impossible (at least for me) to clear this dungeon with Eirgar's stupid AI -_-

I think we just have to be patient, they will do somethin about AI and give more anti buffs, there is too little units to do the job, too little choices
why no one makes buff blocker go first? just buff block on turn one and prevent boss of getting buffs in first place, not try strip block on last turn it makes run slower
Probably trash ai, having buff up kinda guarantees they’ll use the skill.
because she only uses her Buff block once the target actually HAS a buff, unlike chiwu. Her 2nd skill is a strip and then a buff block and thus her AI only makes her use that skill once the target actually has one or more buffs
At this point im just waiting for next 2as cuz i dont see a way none of them have a buff block
