      You’re gonna absolutely love it! I had a 2015 model and enjoyed it so much I upgraded to a 2021 model. It’s a brilliant motorcycle. (Just don’t expect to be able to get assistance from the owners manual - read my comment above)

      @hondaexplorer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, I read it in the manual while looking for something else, thought it was interesting , I now run the screen in full bright mode

  • @orion310591RS
    @orion310591RS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    You can also get screen protector foil, in matte finish. Even on lowest brightness, during day there are no reflections from sun and also during night rides you wont be blinded by high brightness from screen.

    • @hondaexplorer
      @hondaexplorer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great, thank you I’ll have a look into that. I do have a screen protector to install but I think it is glossy like a mobile phone one

    • @michalszwed18

    • @WitchMedusa
      @WitchMedusa 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think he is saying buy the material & cut it to size yourself, there is no product.
      Just get a short of matte diffuse adhesive plastic & soap it on then cut the edges with an knife

    I see this "USA style turn signals always on" trend on all new honda bikes... But how is that alowed in europe where most drivers are not used to orange running lights - and at a quick glance might confuse them as indicators!? I consider this dangerous, cause somebody could think that you are turning and just pull in front of you!

    • @hondaexplorer
      @hondaexplorer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s on all new Hondas, and when you put the indicator on it does flash they stay on normally it is just the sometimes the camera makes it look like it’s flashing

    • @DavidSmith-hn5gg

      I had the dealer disconnect mine it’s a simple case of cutting one wire to each front indicator looks much better now.

    • @hondaexplorer

    • @orion310591RS

    'Good to know - thank you - but a lot of steps/button presses involved. I would hope - but not expect - a Honda technician to know about this. The final setting you show is what should be standard (with automatic dimming), as the first setting is almost uselessly-dim in daylight.

    Strewth. There’s no way one could work that out oneself. I have the 2021 Honda CB500X. The accompanying owners manual does not have an index, so trying to find anything in the manual is frustrating in the extreme - and often takes longer than then attending to whatever you’re actually looking for. Where is the logic in that?! I previously owned a 2015 model and the manual accompanying THAT machine DID have an index - go figure?!

    • @hondaexplorer
      @hondaexplorer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
