Wearable Energy Storage with MXene Textile Supercapacitors - Advancing Future Technologies

Accenture Labs and Drexel University have collaborated to explore the potential applications of MXenes in textiles, particularly in flexible and wearable electronics and energy storage. The research aims to develop sustainable fabric sensors using recycled cotton and investigate materials for on-body energy generation. The focus is on creating a textile energy source, in the form of flexible textile supercapacitors, capable of storing power directly in everyday garments.
