Studying Ecclesiastical history is key to understanding what real Christianity looks like and it ain't protestantism

The Council of Nicaea was the start of the insertion of the pagan beliefs in to Christianity and an agreement to infuse the catholic belief with these pagan beliefs. It was also directed by Constantine to somehow insert an amalgamation of all the versions of early catholcism that repressed real Christians from worshipping as they now had to follow Catholic belief or die! It put in place the law the would eventually lead to the Spanish Inquisition and murder millions of Christian who would not follow the papal edits. IT was also the start of the reformations as we know it!

NO Nicea was about setting the date of Easter and Tritarian and Arianism debate.

Council of Nicea was chaired by a papal representative, who began the discussions by reading aloud a letter from the Pope.

There were many bishops, not only the bishop of Rome. There was no sole papal authority in 325.

@IlluminatingBytes Bishops are successors to the Apostles. There were several dozen Popes before Constantine was even born.

This "Almost divine" idea about Jesus sounds a lot like the Catholic concept about Mary. People who don't know where to step on this theology, could easily assume that Mary was divine.
