I heard the song more than 20 years ago when my parents and I went on vacation we didn't understand a single word. we heard this song the entire drive. a few days ago my father found this cd and turned on this song. an indescribable feeling came up inside me and I had to cry. I love this song. even though I was a kid back then, I already liked it. Sorry for my english.

And I was at Werchter classic in Belgium, many years ago. Got free tickets from some tabacco compagnie. Saw this messy looking guy coming on stage n thought; don’t know him, whatever. Then he started to sing . . . 😃. OMG, I knew many of his songs, loooved them. Just didn’t know who they were from. Ill never forget that n love his songs even more than before!

Mi padre, cuando volvía de Italia, siempre traía cassettes con música popular en ese país, que acá en Chile aún no era conocida. Zuchero es posterior a ese tiempo. Sin embargo, toda la cultura italiana me traía sus recuerdos. Cuanto te extrañé!...cuantas veces lloré mi llanto de niño abandonado, hasta que terminé por odiarte para no sufrir mas por amarte sin tenerte a mi lado!. Cuando pasó toda mi niñez y adolescencia, tras 25 años sin verte, volviste, solo para verme hundido en las drogas. Y cuando te ví, ya no me lancé corriendo a tus brazos. Fuiste la única persona que me hizo sentir amor. Ya no lo he vuelto a sentir de esa forma. Tan puro, real y efímero. Y lo sigo buscando en cada hombre hermoso, inteligente y especial como eras tú. Pero no hay respuesta.

Last year in summer (so hot) we were travelling in Italy in Toscany and by accident we were told the next day Zucchero was going to have a concert in Lucca.
We managed to get on-line tickets.
A bit strange. The first part of the concert we did not recognize any of the songs and based on the reactions of the rest of the mostly local public it seemed most songs were also new for them.
But then, as the finale of the concert, he sang his great songs. So good. The public went crazy.
These song "il volo" and "diamante" are for me the best.
And incredibly good musicians he had.

Since finding this beautiful song, it has become my favorite song to play everyday... It , for some reason has the ability to calm me, keep me company, help me sleep on those nights that sleep evades me ,and it arouses every sensual emotion in me... and has taken me back to a time when I was just a young girl of fifteen,,,,, A love story for me of unrequited love ... I was at a tender age then..... and the young man that stole my heart did not even know that I existed... I saw him at the hospital I was attending, he to was attending that hospital for physiotherapy,, as he had fallen of his motor bike and damaged his leg.. He had a cane with a gold handle , and walked with a limp... I too had broken both my legs and was having physiotherapy , only in a different department.. SADLY.... He caught my eye as he walked into the hospital, wearing a hat and long coat , very handsome,,, just like Zucchero is wearing in this clip his trousers matched the jacket and his shoes were well kept He was for me a vision.. ..His hair was long and the way he wore his mustache , reminded me of the three musketeers, and he also had that little bit of hair below his bottom lip.. Hmmmmmm ..... He took my breath away...
I can still see him in my thoughts , feel my heart pound as it did the first time I laid eyes on him...He was about 19 or 20 years old... And the most beautiful man I had ever seen...... I would get so excited to go to the hospital , in hopes to catch a glimps of him or too catch his eye.. But.... it never happened....as much as I wished otherwise....One day as I sat waiting at the hospital for him to appear , unfortunately he did not return....I realised that I would never see him again... My heart broke into a million pieces , but even after all these years the memory of that beautiful man has never left me...... I have to wonder who the lucky lady that may have eventually won his heart and his love was like...? How lucky she would have been..and how I wished it could have been me.....
