Mi padre, cuando volvía de Italia, siempre traía cassettes con música popular en ese país, que acá en Chile aún no era conocida. Zuchero es posterior a ese tiempo. Sin embargo, toda la cultura italiana me traía sus recuerdos. Last year in summer (so hot) we were travelling in Italy in Toscany and by accident we were told the next day Zucchero was going to have a concert in Lucca. We managed to get on-line tickets. A bit strange. The first part of the concert we did not recognize any of the songs and based on the reactions of the rest of the mostly local public it seemed most songs were also new for them. But then, as the finale of the concert, he sang his great songs. So good. The public went crazy. These song "il volo" and "diamante" are for me the best. And incredibly good musicians he had.
I also listen to this song remembering my dad who passed away November 2018 from a heart attack. I heard this song so often with him, as we drove together on long car rides. I miss him endlessly. ❤️

Last year in summer (so hot) we were travelling in Italy in Toscany and by accident we were told the next day Zucchero was going to have a concert in Lucca.
We managed to get on-line tickets.
A bit strange. The first part of the concert we did not recognize any of the songs and based on the reactions of the rest of the mostly local public it seemed most songs were also new for them.
But then, as the finale of the concert, he sang his great songs. So good. The public went crazy.
These song "il volo" and "diamante" are for me the best.
And incredibly good musicians he had.
This is not just a song, it's a luminous creation, settled more in heaven than on earth.
