If you are doing this work without experience,don't panic while doing the work first practice for 2 or 3 times then you will fix easily.

Thats not the correct method. First comes sixteen teeth on main shaft and 20 teeth on lay shaft then comes 17 teeth on main shaft and 19 teeth on lay shaft. Thanks for explaining the method. Very useful but kindly check and confirm the sequence of gears

If 20 teethe gear on lay shaft what is the connecting gear for top gear sprocket gear.
Just think it.
Or once check the manual.
First gear ( plane gear ) connecting gear for 19 teeth gear.
20 teeth gear connecting gear for top gear ( sprocket gear)
If 20 teeth gear is in lay shaft how you connect top gear to main shaft

By 19 teeth gear. I have checked the manual as well and calculated gear ratios. Also i have got the same fitted.
Once read your first msz carefully
You said boath 19 and 20 on lay shaft.
Now you are saying 19 teeth gear for top gear connecting.

@@hariprasadkathyayani oh. Sorry for mistake. I have fitted 16 teeth on main shaft with 20 teeth on lay shaft and then 19 teeth on main shaft with 17 teeth on lay shaft. And thats the method man. I have checked manual as well as confirmed from the guy which has worked on jawa agency long time ago and still works with jawa only.
