He’s so under appreciated it’s crazy. People forget how good he was as a playmaker. People just think he scored goals but he did a lot more. Tactically underrated too. Scholes controlled the game better, gerrard was more of a driving force but eradical, and lampard was overall the most dependable and efficient. Always comes up with a goal or assist. And tactically played smart on both ends

Lampard and Drogba was on of the most lethal duos of all time, Drogba could finish any ball Lampard gave him, with the head Drogba was lethal, with the feet he was very good and he ran so well for a guy his size, if Drogba wasn't open, Lampard would take the ball deeper and finish it himself.

Here is a hot take, if gerrard lampard and scholes didnt win their champions league, then xavi and iniesta would be top 3. But since Pirlo, zidane also have champions league in that decade, then the rankings is debatable. Ability and talent is pirlo, wins you games, zidane.
