Thank you. I have a horrible cold and haven’t been able to rest for a couple days. Your soothing voice helped me relax and I actually got a little sleep. Thank you! ❤❤🧀
@ Thank you. I did finally get some sleep, and I am starting to feel better, slowly, except every so often I get these coughs that feel like I am coughing up my toenails. Thoughts on the finale?
Well, Max is a muppet, especially after Chloe Chambers was penalised in one of the F1 Academy races for a fairly similar, albeit much more 50/50 incident, in my opinion. If it had cost McLaren the Constructors’ Championship, I would be a lot more upset, but thankfully it didn’t affect the outcome there. Not too much to say other than that. Did you see/hear about what happened on the first lap of the F2 Feature Race? Well, the incident itself wasn’t exactly funny, but the mistake Alex Jacques made when calling it certainly was.
Alright, let’s set the scene for the Feature Race. After what can only be described as an unbelievable season that had seen no less than EIGHTEEN different drivers take a race victory, the title fight was down to just 4.5 points with Gabriel Bortoleto ahead of Isack Hadjar. Qualifying: Victor Martins took pole position ahead of Bortoleto, next was Paul Aron followed by Hadjar. Dino Beganovic qualified 5th ahead of Kush Maini and Josep Maria Marti, the latter two being Bortoleto and Hadjar’s teammates respectively. The rest of the top 10 was filled by Ritomo Miyata, Joshua Durksen, and Amaury Cordeel. The Sprint Race: Won’t spend too much time on this. Cordeel started on reverse grid pole, and while he held on to a podium for a while, he eventually cooked his tyres, then locked up and took out Durksen as the latter tried to pass him on the outside. As for the title fight, Bortoleto took 2nd with Hadjar in 5th. Paul Aron was in between them, but was not only disqualified, elevating Hadjar to 4th, but was also forced to start from pit lane for the Feature Race, essentially elevating Hadjar to third on the grid. The reason? Aron’s DRS was opening by 1mm to far, and it is believed this was known about by the Hitech team, as it would be impossible for this to happen without modifying the part, and it is not the first time a Hitech has been disqualified for a technical breach, to say the least. Meanwhile, Marti became the 18th race winner of the season. The Feature Race: Alright, here’s the juicy bit, because it is a winner takes all situation between Bortoleto and Hadjar. Bortoleto got a storming start from 2nd on the grid while pole sitter Martins dropped back, the fight for 2nd was on between Isack Hadjar and Kush Maini into turn 1. Hadjar forced Maini wide, but that didn’t stop the Indian driver from keeping the fight going, side by side through the S section, all the way up to the hairpin, where Maini sent it all the way around the outside to finally take P2 from Hadjar. The battle continued along the straight, but Maini held on, making it an Invicta 1-2, while Bortoleto sprinted away out in front. But, what’s this? Hadjar is in pit lane? How? Bortoleto hasn’t even completed the first lap yet. Because in fact, it was Marti, Hadjar’s teammate, fighting away with Maini the whole time. Hadjar stalled on the grid and never started the race at all, the commentators were so fixated on the Red Bull liveried car that they didn’t stop to check which one it was, and had called it wrong for the entire first lap so far. So, the epic title fight never was, Hadjar’s hopes ended on the starting grid. Bortoleto ultimately finished 2nd in the race after a mistake allowed Joshua Durksen through for the lead, and the Paraguayan driver never looked back, taking his second win of the season, and first in a Feature Race. But, with Hadjar no longer a threat, Bortoleto was the guaranteed champion, and of course, he will be driving for Sauber next year.
Haha, it has been a long time since I have seen proper snow. We’ve had auroras here a few nights recently. I didn’t see them myself, but my cousin took some amazing photos.
@ We were forecast flurries. I spent yesterday morning shoveling four inches of flurries off my driveway. I am jealous pink about the auroras. I’ve seen them exactly once in my life. :(. I bet they were beautiful though, from the little I’ve seen.

Aww… glad I could help. I hope you feel better soon my friend. :)
Big E-hugs! 🧀

I heard from Jester you hadn’t been feeling well lately. Just wanted to check in on you. :)
Ahh, I’m fine, just allergic to Spring and Summer. :)
@ I’d say come visit. We have 4 inches of snow on the ground.
