I found the interview interesting and informative. I'm 65 and also use natural medicine. My girlfriend of the last years recently has suspicious jealousy. Suspicious jealousy is a type of jealousy in which a person fears the loss of a valued relationship to a rival even though the person's partner has not misbehaved and there is no factual basis for this worry. She's just 24 now and I hope we can work through it. I believe it's the Trust issue that your guest mentioned. It's not wise to marry if there's no trust. Tyt.
@@VagabondAwake I remember being jealous at her age. I'm hoping it's something she outgrows. Might be an interesting follow up discussion with your guest.
He doesn't want me to disclose that because he is playing or tips in bars and he is worried if that will effect his tourist visa status. Yes, rightfully so to be skeptical about the work of Joe Dispenza however this is the case with most "faith based" healing. It's not necessarily duplicate able but it does happen.
What town is he in? IS the $50 rent typical of the rural areas throughout the Philippines? I'm not really into city life either, and have been more curious about rural areas.
$50 rebt in the provinces I wouldn't say is typical but I would say it is possible, but only if you are willing to live local style and be willing to improve things to your taste on your own dime. You will also probably need to pay one year in advance as a negotiating tactic. $600 e.g. :-)
It is rare, in my opinion, to get $50 a month rent here in Philippines. For me it happened because my gf is from the provinces, has friends that referred us and we just happened to be the right place at right time.
Isn't it good that each of us have choices on how to live in the Philippines. His life style is not for me. I like being close to the city(I live in Cebu City) because of hospitals, airport, AC and entertainment all on $1600 a month(4 in the house hold) not counting my new car payment. I just don't have the mindset to "rough it" anymore-getting too old for that.

I love the guy's vibe. But, you can't heal prostate cancer with meditation, I truly hope you reconsider some kind of medical treatment. If not, I wish you the best of health, it sounds like you're living a great life.
Some forms of prostate cancer are more aggressive than others. A doctor freind of mine once told me, depending upon the kind of prostate camcer youhave and how old you are, age can kill you faster than the cancer in many cases. So have that talk with your doctor for sure before making that decision.

Hey dude. What town did he move to? Maybe I missed it. How can the rent be so cheap when rent in the states is soul crushing expensive? A two bedroom 1+ bathroom house is 400k+ minimum.
I was just trying to figure out the province he was in. Is a province a city or town? I was looking at the locations you were listing in the upper left corner of the video.
@@michikoiesaka3365 I live on the island of Camiguin. My rent is rare for this island and my situation isn't exactly idyllic ( very basic) but it is manageable and with creativity I've made it more comfortable.

In Thailand it is much the same as far as rental costs etc. I prefer to be as far away from tourist /expat hangouts as possible. Prices are much cheaper and the Thais tend to be much more honest and friendly.
$50 I was wondering whether that's for one night or a week. I should have guessed it's for the whole month! How do you find these awesome guests? By the way, your footage is so good Dan and you have so much of it I think you could sell or hire it out to the stock footage or stock photo sites.
He didn’t say but at $1000 a month I’m guessing he has a loan he’s paying for the vehicle? Maybe health insurance? Otherwise where’s the money going? Well I guess he did say he spends $20 a day on food so that’s $600 a month.
Yes. Food, scuba. I was enjoying the conversation so much I decided not to push that deep into the details. What is you budget in the Philippines. Do you want to be a guest star? vagabondbuddha.com/contact/
I'm guessing he prioritizes health, well-being, joy, beauty and spends based on priorities while people in the leveraged debt based economies spend based on collateralized debt that is the major product traded there (collateral is usually houses, cars, access to healthcare, etc).
$1000 a month out of $1500 so I can save about $500 a month for annual travel back to the states. it's easy to spend 1k for stuff ...and my car is a 2000 Suzuki SUV that needs maintainence however that's also cheap if you find the right mechanic. I just had timing belt, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, rear shock absorbers, fuel injectors, clutch and clutch pressure pressure plate, throw-out bearing , 2 universal joints replaced which took a few days to complete, all labor done for 15000 peso.. $263 US. Also dental work , with my current dentist is $130 a crown and $14 for simple filling. Like going back in time as the world just hasn't caught up with this place (yet)😀
You can pay $0 rent in the US if you really wanted to. I see no point of some individual somewhere in the world paying $50 rent. Always fun to hear the guy who solved the mystery of love and found how to find a woman they can't trust for the rest of his life and the love just gets deeper and better. Said every male in the entire history of Homo sapiens in the first couple years being with a woman. There aren't a lot of males getting into a relationship thinking she's Mrs Nightmare. It's 11 year-old thinking that you've found your soulmate, BFF. Absolutely enjoy being in love. Trust your mate to some degree. But thinking you can trust another person absolutely in all matters forever isn't very bright. Many of these expats in PH show the problem. So many with stories of problems in their adult life, bad female choices, making bad financial decisions and then they're on TH-cam telling everyone how now they have it all figured out. Rewind the tape and you'll probably see they've been making the same claim over and over throughout their life.
Where can one pay no rent in the U.S.? I want to know cause that's totally unheard of, unless someone is homeless or in a salvation army or freeloading off of family members, or a loved one or living off grid, but I don't think that is what you mean, at least I hope not

I'm guessing he prioritizes health, well-being, joy, beauty and spends based on priorities while people in the leveraged debt based economies spend based on collateralized debt that is the major product traded there (collateral is usually houses, cars, access to healthcare, etc).
@@VagabondAwake I’m not retired yet. On a 3 year countdown. I just visit a couple times a year at moment 😊
@@lakelvpReally well put 👍🏽👍🏽
I really enjoyed the story. I think he is interesting.
Where can one pay no rent in the U.S.? I want to know cause that's totally unheard of, unless someone is homeless or in a salvation army or freeloading off of family members, or a loved one or living off grid, but I don't think that is what you mean, at least I hope not

This is a very powerful interview and he is truly happy. He said it all about Gratitude ❤
“ I used to paint houses”
😳
Did you run out of paint or retire?
@@VagabondAwake that’s mafia speak for hit men. It’s the alternative title for The Irishman
I think you spelled "Siargo" wrong. You probably mean "Siargao".
So, why is America so expensive and too many shootings? I love $50.00 per month rent
I wish I knew the answer to that question. :-(
Siargao **** spelled wrong
I wanna eat at this guy’s house 😂
Thanks 🤣....its fun to cook all kinds of different foods and much better than restaurants which often use cheap ingredients.
How old is Joe?
He’s very together.
71 now. :-)
wherrrrrrrrrre is he living?
In the Philippines int he provinces. He shared the general area with me but asked me not to disclose. I would do the same for you. I wanted people to hear what he was willing to share publicly.
Camiguin island but this rent rate is rare. Figure about 10-15K pesos $180 on up.
@@johnnycakeslim . . . makes sense, thank you!
Is this gentleman a target? As the one foreigner in an impoverished village? As a 70+ year old senior I'd begin to worry for him.
No. He is just worried that playing his guitar in restaurants for tips might be a violation of his tourist visa.
all forigners are "targets" but no need to worry. I just was a little shy at first but now I figure what the hell. Let it be known. maybe I'll even start my own channel ( on second thought...I have enough to do
"local standards" is just pure suffering.....
WRONG!
In my experience, the average Filipino is happier than the average westerner living in their home country despite all the bells and whistles in the west.
Joe talks a good game but 4 girlfriends in 6 years isn't a great track record.
What would be a the best track record Soupy?
Weird dichotomy, an Eagle Scout breaking the law by doing a job meant for Filipinos.
I have met very few perfect people in this world no matter their titles.
