Thanks for importing such a fantastic hyper sportbike into the U.S. for us. The update for the 2022 model year was much needed and really makes the case for having a new Hayabusa in the garage.
Man! That was a blast of a ride! One thousand miles round trip in that timeframe would have paralyzed me. I love the round speedo and tach. Outstanding review as always Adam!
I love this review. not my 1st time watching it. I love how you don't have to ring it out. And how relaxed it seems doing legal speeds not event turning 5k rpm. I sold the Ducati Monster 1100s 2 years ago. This is now my next bike. Special thank you for showing us the back stage for MotoAmerica. I had the priv of going to Champ School and having instruction from Kyle and Cody Wyman for two days!
Man, I missed you out at the track. I rode my 2022 White Hayabusa for all 3 days. A great weekend. I have a soft tri-bag setup that works really well. I understand what you're saying about being a head turner but the funny thing is with my white bike, the black tri-bag, and my khaki colored motorcycle jacket most of the cagers think I'm a CHP bike and move out of the number 1 lane when I'm on the freeway. A great benefit! LOL!
Most of the civilized and wild world has legalized lane filtering. I hate it that we can’t do that here, it’s like the entire point of having a bike not to be stuck in traffic.
Cali rider here. If they made it illegal to lane split, I would quit riding. Seriously, who needs to get rear ended ... might as well be in a car at that point.
Bro Adam, your videos are great, you deliver like not many others, the way you talk about the bikes you review is thorough and extremely informative. Too cool!! Those Hayabusa are awesome bikes, I own the first Gen, have ridden the 2nd Gen and hopefully when I win lotto I'll own the 3rd Gn.
The quality of content you get from this channel is something that no other channel can match, Yes they need a little bit of things to up their editing and thumbnail game and once it is done, I am sure they'll pull in a lot of clout. You are an amazing host Adam
Hi GoofYahDoggy, thanks for the message and the nice feedback. We love hearing from our U.S. audience. We would be very pleased if you can please elaborate on "they need a little bit of things to up their editing and thumbnail game." Thanks man, Adam
Hi@@AdamWaheed ! The content in all the videos is awesome, I was particularly talking about the goPro footage..I have seen some other TH-camrs with (maybe) the same GoPro that you use and they have tweaked some settings to make their footage look more like real life (I don't wanna name anyone unless you want me to) & you need to work a little bit more on the thumbnails. Make them look more "eye catchy" like the ones on your Ducati Panigale V2/4/Supersport & Indian FTR (where you were Santa) video Hope this all helps! I'll keep supporting you
omg Adam I am so sorry, I had no idea I was watching the video in 1080p. I have now switched to 4K and the quality is amazing, so just ignore the editing part. Really sorry
Lol I love how he mentioned it’s a bike that’s good for taller riders. The only two guys I’ve ridden with that had ‘Busas was a not incredibly short 5’ 7”ish, but the other was 5’ 2”. Not saying it’s a stereotype but I find it funny the only two I’ve know are shorties not the aforementioned NBA sized folk.
@johngreen3510 I always feel like I'm still on a 1000 or 600 when I jump on a busa at 6'3 with a 34 inch inseam. Idk I like the riding position but they don't feel that big to me, zx14s as well though better than some other bikes
Bummed I missed Laguna Seca this year. It's the second motorcycle race that I've missed since 1997. Did make it to MotoGP COTA though!! Always a good time to see old friends.
I love Adam and his reviews. I have a 22 Busa and I still can’t believe he missed the 190hp. I removed the stock exhausts and put a akra now is up almost 8hp so close to 200. How did he get 170? Thats crazy
@@xb5883 The GT sits more upright and is ergonomically more comfortable overall. Also, the GT offers more wind protection due to the taller wind shield. Furthermore, the GT is available with matching panniers from factory.
Just add bar risers, lower pegs, and taller screen to hyabusa. Pretty sure I’ve seen sw motech complete luggage system for it too. I’m considering doing all that to a gsxr1000.
This is going to be my next bike. In black ! Unfortunately right now no insurer offer a quote as London is the shittiest city ever, they steal like crazy but the moment they sent me a quote i'm going next morning and buying ! Great insights, thanks for the video. P.S Laguna Seca is my favourite track of all time
Hey Adam excellent review love this motorcycle to oh by the way back in 1983 when I was 22 years old Kawasaki GPZ 1100 had digital fuel injection so they already pioneered this type of Industry keep up the good work and watch out for those cars because you're fast
Why did he say its nit for going across america?? Thats exactly what its for. I have a 16 fj 09.. upgrade the stock sadlle, and head to wherever you want. Across america
For ANYONE considering a 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa, I highly suggest you check into the insurance rates first. My age, driving history, credit score, and endorsement all work in my favor. Yet three quotes for full coverage on 2023 Hayabusa was $1,200, $2,000 and $2,400 anually. That's absurd. I pay $380 annually for my 2017 ZX-10RR. Why is a $20,000 "Sport Cruiser" insurance so high??
This new busa wins due to better looks and IMU cornering abs TC. older ones just get whichever is in best condition. But look at people smiling at the hyabusa in track pits! Undeniable busa recognition everywhere😉
I feel very old at 34. People say this bike is comfortable but I rode one yesterday, a 2008 one, for 15 minutes, and was already feeling pain in my back and wrists. Love the bike though. Maybe I’m too used to riding my Tracer I got spoiled with the sitting position.
The older ones are a long reach to the bars and short in the leg. I've got a gen 1 and love it. The latest one is a noticable improvement on the bars - they're higher and slightly further back. That also unwraps your legs as a side effect. Risers on the old ones have a similar effect.
It's two things. The first is that it is comfortable relative to a supersport bike. If you are coming from a Tracer, it will be significantly less comfortable. The second is height. It is much more comfortable, especially from a Supersport, for taller guys. Comparing this to a focused touring bike and it will not be more comfy.
Umbrella babes lol obviously you no longer allowed to say umbrella or babes in today’s world. Someone will accuse you of being racist towards umbrellas 😂😂😂😂😂
Or people who realise you can't use a sportbikes power because its too short and you can't get near its lean angle almost anywhere on the road but you can use that busa engine every time there's a straight. The only place on a road a sportbike is better is on the brakes and if you're pushing them that hard on a road you're not going to be around long enough for it to matter. 12 year olds who have never ridden a superbike properly think they want one but those of us who have had them for years know which is the better bike on the roads. I wouldn't want a busa on a track but I also wouldn't want an R1 on the road. Been there, done that. Oh and I'm not old enough to be a boomer but I am experienced enough on bikes not to sound like a spec sheet wannabe.
Thanks Adam, Great video!

Cool vid, Adam. As always. Had a VFR 1200 and rode across the country a couple times. How does the Busa compare for longer rides? Thx.
Man that BMW bike riding alongside you is hauling ass!!!
Difference is that bike is being caned to just inside its limits. The Hayabusa is just chilling around half rpm.
The hayabusa seems like a really fun bike to ride! Thanks for this video. What’s the better all around bike: hayabusa or s1000rr?
Hayabusa
On the road Hayabusa easily.
And 15 grand cheaper

S1000rr vs R1
S1000rr vs zx10….😊
